Been twice now and while I like the atmosphere and the service is good the food does not live up to the hype.

European / Aussie neighborhood restaurant feel. Nice to see it surviving in Seattle.Duck flatbread was good. Pastry a little too crunchy but flavors good.Beet salad and asparagus were great. It is expensive.

One of my friends suggested Single Shot for an intimate brunch, and even though we are from Tacoma and I was hesitant to drive all the way to Seattle just for a brunch spot, it was definitely worth it!Single Shot is tucked back in the neighborhoods near Capitol Hill where you wouldn’t even think such a modern and outstanding brunch spot would be! It was honestly hidden between older homes and apartments and would be easy to miss if you didn’t know what you were looking for. It’s a cozy restaurant inside and has nice outdoor seating as well. The decor is a modern take on vintage style, and being there feels both like stepping back in time but also living in the 2024 you only see in movies. The staff are all extremely friendly with customers as well as with each other. I was new, but I could tell based on watching staff and patrons interact that there are a lot of regulars.I was given a heads up that the food is large, so we decided to do family style dining, and it was truly large servings! I was shocked by how large a single pancake was!! Between the three of us, we still had leftovers! Everything is homemade and uses fresh ingredients too! Even the toast was impressive and toast is usually the leftover filler for small meals, but not here!I cannot wait to come back!

We had a wonderful evening. The food was delicious!!! Tiramisu best in town. Loved the beets. My husband had a decaf coffee - best ever!! Best part was your wonderful bartender!! Made amazing drinks especially the alcohol removed cocktail. Personable, low key, seamless. A real pro!! You are very lucky to have such a top notch team member. We will be back and yes will only sit at the bar !!! MC

Been meaning to try this place for years and finally made it. Had the rack of lamb and the burrata and it was delicious. Cocktails were great too. I didn't try the wine but looked like a better than average pour. Would love to come back soon

Food and service was great. It was very cold in the restaurant and everyone was wearing coats. Not sure if they don't have heat or don't turn it on but it was really unpleasant.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner after a show. The people were wonderful and the food was fantastic. I had the steak, which was one of the best, perfectly cooked, steaks I have had in Seattle! My hats off to the chef.

Single Shot is the perfect balance of neighborhood restaurant and elevated dining experience. There is a long bar down one side that is popular with solo diners and couples. With eclectic decor, it feels elegant without being fussy. Single Shot truly shines for groups sharing food and special occasions. The Pork Chop is my favorite entree, but four of us shared the lamb last night and it is a close second. The beet salad is an amazing starter - plenty for four to share, and the pastas are excellent.

Single Shot made my birthday truly special. Starting with a delicious old fashioned, our group of four shared a beet salad, roast cauliflower, two pastas, the lamb and some desert. It was plenty of food, and spaced out nicely. The lamb and the beet salad were highlights, but everything was superb. We will be back.

Had a really nice dinner here. We came in and had bar reservations but the terrific waiter gave us a table. The hamachi was a great started along either the penicillin (drink). The cauliflower had great flavor. The burrata was okay- not sure I'd order it again. The agnolotti was amazing. Could eat it every day. We'll have to go back and try everything else on the menu. Love this cozy restaurant
