This location has decreased in quality recently. The classic Taco Del Mar black beans they used to serve are now store-bought unseasoned black beans. There's seemingly no communication about this, and this Taco Del Mar actually isn't even on the official Taco Del Mar website.

I wentgere for lunch today. I've been a customer for years. the owner happened to be there. never seen him there before. I asked for a discount for queso because I had a small burrito. Queso for one scoop is $2. Not only did he give me a regular amount of queso, he paid for my burrito... More business owner should recognize prices have increased for everything and give back to loyal customers.Thank you owner of Taco Del Mar Northgate way/Roosevelt

My son and I went in here just now to order some food. It was the most odd experience. The person who was working there was stirring his tea and looked up at us and nodded, but didn't say anything. We just waited and waited and waited. After a full 5 to 10 minutes of him continuing to just look at us but not want to talk to us we just walked out. He apparently just did not want to do his job today I guess? So weird.

The food was really good I ordered on the phone at first maybe the lady didn't understand a word I said all she spoke with Spanish she understand the liquor English so and reorder my order again I asked it to be not hot oh my God it was so hot I mean it's hot it was too hot and she was really rude to me I wanted extra short in Spanish this is very unprofessional in front of customers because I don't know if she's talking about spending my food or what if they work in America I have no problem I can speak in their language but when they're working and you just speak English language but the lady she seem like she didn't want to be there ..

if you're thinking about trying taco del mar, do it ! They're a franchise so many have been going out of business lately, go help support them by buying some food. Taco del mar is my favorite restaurant ever. i don't live near one, but when i get the chance i drive down to get some. i would recommend anything with refried beans and rice.

I stopped by to get a quick lunch at this place. The old Mexican lady was so rude. I was the only one in the store so I took a little time to read the menu on the board. She didn't have patient and started yelling at me when she asked me to order. She charged me extra for the guacamole sauce without telling me so I told her that I didn't want it. Then she stared throwing a fit and said it was my fault. Then I told her never mind I didn't want it anymore. She was yelling at me saying don't come back!! Wow!! What a service!! I am sure that being a short staff issue during the pandemic is why she still has a job. I feel bad for the owner to keep losing customers due to her poor customer service.
