Ordered the Peking duck, just half and half mixed veggies. As last time I attended this restaurant, I'm still ordering the same duck. Haven't tried other items, but some day I will. If you happened to try different menus, I recommend this one. (There is a process to make Peking duck , so is the reason for the price).

The food was really good. Fresh and fulfilling. The Low Mein so good and a lotnof it. The egg rolls were nice size with good a amount of shrimp. This restaurant is the oldest Chinese restaurant in seattle. 85 years. I loved the photos of Bruce Lee. Great place. Inwishbwe had this place in ohio.

Absolutely amazing food and culture. We found this location during the Bruce Lee tour and continue to return every chance we get. The family style plates are great for sharing with a group. The service is fast, accurate, and super friendly.

Worst customer service I have ever received in a restaurant. I wasn’t going to say anything to staff but they were wondering why we didn’t touch our food. The manager came out so defensive and with an attitude. We won’t be back.

Absolutely superlative! The beef chow fun and lemon chicken were divine. Couldn't ask for better service as our waitress had a sweet disposition and was very attentive. A wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

My wife and I thought we would grab some lunch before going to the Wing Luke museum. Not only did Tai Tung come up extremely highly rated on two different sites, but my wife has been going there for 50 years. We had barbecued pork fried rice, Kung Pao chicken, and hot and sour soup. The fried rice was as expected. The hot and sour soup, however, was slightly sweet, and it doesn't strike me as a dish I expect to have any sweetness to it. The corker was the Kung Pao chicken, which for some reason was pink, and was markedly sweet. The sauce tasted more like a sweet and sour sauce, and I know that this should be a savory dish, not a sweet one. I have absolutely no idea how they got such high ratings on the website. Service was great, and they have obviously invested significantly in sprucing up the joints since the last time we were there. However, we won't be returning.

This is a gem. The service staff was very attentive, kind, and friendly. It was clear their customers are important to them. We enjoyed the walnut shrimp and egg rolls. It felt like we got to experience a bit of true Seattle history at one of the oldest chinese restaurants in the city (1935). All of the thank you cards, photos, articles, and nice messages to the team over the years along the wall make it clear that the owners and team care about community and service. We felt it to. Thank you Tai Tung team!

Parking: We cirled the block about 4 times before a spot near the restaurant became available.

Tai Tung is a Seattle Chintown staple...celebrating 90 years in family business. Bruce Lee used to eat here often, and his table is still there for group dinners! You will find the food is traditional, flavorful and the staff are helpful.
