The food was good but we pay and she want us to me to leave some tips because she was nice I think it was unprofessional to ask for tips just because she feel Like she can ask for tips

I ordered a Phad Thai peanut noodle dish and a side of 6 stuffed wontons which came with a side of sweet chili sauce. everything was delicious and cooked perfectly until my partner noticed the sweet chili sauce was molded and old. The taste of the sauce was moldy and definitely past its best by date

mom and pop shop with yummy food, GREAT prices (most of their dishes ~$15), and GREAT portions which is hard to find in seattle for under $60. just like the good ole days. it is tucked away in the corner and they can get a little busy with takeout orders so please be patient with these sweet people. no more doordashing mediocre expensive food and paying fees equivalent to another dish. phad Thai, phad see Lew, and crispy chicken r YUM. looks like they may have outdoor seating during summer!

This has been my go to Thai place for a few years now. The food is always fresh and amazing. Fresh rolls, spring rolls, phad thai, and their pumpkin curry is all delicious. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the restaurant itself is very cute and cozy. I would definitely recommend.

I've been going to Thai Ocean since 1996...it is my favorite Thai restaurant in the greater Seattle area. I have tried many others all over Puget Sound and beyond...never been disappointed, everything on the menu is prepared with care and pleases the palate!Excellent place to enjoy Thai cuisine!Parking: On the property only 8 spots. There is street parking but might be hard to find. This restaurant is a block away from the East side of Greenlake in a heavily populated area. Lots of their business is walk in and take out.

The staff were very kind and accomodating when ordering to-go. I ordered the Neau yuang and a two other items. The sauce was inedibly salty, my partner agreed something must have went wrong. The steak's texture was good and flavor fine, but if half the dish is not consumable then I can't rate higher.

My partner and I had a very enjoyable dine in experience. The food was good but clearly designed for takeout. However, I must add that any loss in quality is made up for in quantity. I have never received such a large portion at a Thai restaurant, which was preferable for a man such as myself. The atmosphere is quiet and enjoyable. The decor is pleasing, as there are a bazillion plants and a fish tank. Would recommend.

Below average Thai food *for Seattle*, but it's in a good location and is open 'late' compared to most other similarly priced restaurants around Greenlake. Good service too even for large parties. If you dine here, I'd recommend the panang curry. Know that it doesn't include rice by default though. The curry isn't too spicy either - it's barely a kick, and I have low spice tolerance so I thought it was perfect.Didn't love the pad Thai or pad see ew - both lacked depth of flavor and noodle texture was kind of dry.Overall, a mediocre Thai spot compared to other options in Seattle (Wallingford in particular), but it's affordable and is a solid meal after a walk around Greenlake.

I'd give it 4 stars! I like this restaurant quite a bit. I went in the summer so I sat outside on the front patio. There are some nice flower pots and decor so it was indeed a pleasant eating area. Ordered the pad krapau (thai version) and it was delicious! Good flavor, I ordered it spicy and thought it could use a bit more punch but I like spice. Got a good sized pour of white wine and it was crisp and refreshing on that hot summer day - so I ordered a second glass. Large menu so lots to try! I also recommends the crispy chicken and duck curry!

From the initial call to ask a question to our good-byes, Thai Ocean was a wonderful evening. The woman who answered the phone made me feel that she would definitely love to have my small group dine at her restaurant. Upon entering later that evening she recognized me by my voice and made us feel as if she and the whole staff had been eagerly awaiting our arrival. We were seated toward the back near what appeared to be a table where staff ate -- kinda like Olive Garden's "When you're here, you're family" vibe.Quite impressively, at this table there were pepper bushes -- like uprooted pepper bushes with loads and loads of small red peppers. I was told they had just come back from eastern Washington and bought them and brought them back. So while we ate the delicious food a staff/family member pulled the peppers off the bushes for eventual use in the sauces. Everything met or exceeded expectations. As we placed our order of dishes to share we were advised that two of our dishes were very similar and were given a couple of options to consider. Nice. While there's nothing particularly unique or different about their food it was all prepared and presented well. The curries were right on, the fried food fried well, the vegetables fresh and crispy. The portions are normal size, the prices reasonable, and the welcoming environment appreciated. Seems like a great neighborhood restaurant; might even describe it as family friendly. There are also a few parking spaces in their lot which is nice.

First time trying this place and I'm pleased! I ordered a 3 star chicken pad Thai and the serving size is huge - they also don't play about stars (usually I'll say 3 stars at other Thai places and it won't have any spice). The staff are nice and the inside of the restaurant is nice and cozy!
