Best place to watch a Tottenham Spurs or Chicago Bears game! Heavy pours and a nice, fun crowd. We are regular Spurs fans, and owner Chad opens the bar early for the games even when he’s had a late night the night before. Really great spot for a drink whether you’re a sports fan or not!

The Whit's End was the best random find ever. I'm a Seattle born and raised. It's rare for me to find hidden gems like this one. Not at all the food service places in WA can claim they have the best. But The Whit's End hands down has one of the best Philly's I have ever had. Not to mention the portion size, I ate this thing over two meals. The service is amazing the bartenders know exactly how to make you the perfect drink even if you don't know what you want. I recommend if you are looking for a chill night with good food and drinks, hit this place up any day. It's small but mighty!

I went here for a date, heard a lot of good things about it…until I tried it. Pretty basic, nothing stands out, even if you’re trying to place an order. At waiting for 20 mins I was starving even my beer wasn’t good, the food was a bit disappointing lacking

Spend your money at Chupacabra or at any other local bar. My girlfriend and I were excited to try this spot as they were open till 2am! However the “too cool for school” Bartender let me and her sit at the bar for 15 minutes without acknowledging us despite trying to get make eye contact and wave numerous times. I know the pandemic caused a lot of quality service industry folk to switch jobs so a lot of bar folks are new now a days, but acknowledging and welcoming new patrons is a pretty basic part of being a bartender.

Divey bar with an amazing cheesesteak inside. Love a good dive bar and this one had some good craft beer options.

This is an edit. First time just left a one star review without writing a comment because I truly did not want to relive the uncomfortable experience I had with the owner/bartender. However after seeing my review, which was just a star with no words at all, the owner/bartender writes disparaging comments and calls me out publicly on here by my full name. He spent time hunting down my name for this reason. I am a victim of past violence and this is bulling and is completely unbecoming of the owner of a business. Here is what the owner responded to my simple star: “lol, Jennifer E Tricarico, you're permanently 86'd from The Whit's End for accosting employees, only the 3rd person to earn such a badge at Whit's, good luck!”What prompted this? I asked if I could give the bar dog water. Yup that is it. He then treated me like I was stupid for suggesting a dog should have water then proceeded to rub my arm. I called him out on touching me by simply saying “May I give you some feedback? Just so you know that made me uncomfortable.” He then went off on me and rambled about how everyone loves him, he has 4.5 reviews and for me to leave. I waited by the door for my boyfriend who was finishing up with the lovely cheesesteak guys and left. Not sure where the “accosted employees” came from since he touched me and I responded with constructive feedback. Not loud, no swearing, just please don’t touch me. Which any caring human being would have responded with ‘sorry I don’t mean to make you uncomfortable’, or something along those lines.I have owned a house on Phinney for well over a decade. I am not drunk barfly who got 86’d. I am a working professional who stopped in to pick up a sandwich. I should be able to do that without being rubbed by a man I don’t know. I should also be able to post an opinion in opposition of this business owner (remember it was just a star) without being disparaged and bullied. This retaliation made me read the other comments. Pushing down drunk woman. He’s a gem….One last word: the cheese steaks are amazing. Just beware of paws behind the bar. Better yet get the sandwich and go anywhere else to enjoy it.Second edit. After talking to my boyfriend I realized the only way he would know my full name is by going through the credit card receipts. My profile only has my initials. My full name including middle initial is on nothing other than my credit card for which we paid with. I believe posting my full name would equate to stalking and bullying. Shame on you!

The officials Tottenham Hotspur supporters club of Seattle is a great place to watch the Spurs game. Lots of cool Tottenham memorabilia and fans surrounding you for the match. They have a bottle of one of my favorite whiskeys, Blanton’s. Sadly didn’t get a chance to try the food but it smelled amazing. Also a dog friendly bar! Highly recommend.

Went out a little too late (11:45pm) and all the food in the area was closed. Found this place & tried my luck - the owner very kindly still let me order food even though the kitchen was closed. Had an amazing time here playing pool, drinks were great, and the dog Pavlov is an absolute sweetheart. I’ll be back for sure if I’m in the area! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a low key place to have a drink or two and hang out.

I enjoyed this bar the first few times I came here for its divey vibe and cheap drinks. However, I will not be returning as during my last visit the owner exhibited racist and aggressive behavior toward several food delivery drivers. To start, this bar is dog friendly. Great! Love dogs! But the owners allow their dog and others to roam freely. During my last visit, my friend and I noticed they had a sign for Tres House of Cheesesteaks - something along the lines of "get Tres here!" We had both been wanting to try it, so we placed an order via QR code and noted "in restaurant." While we were waiting for our food, several delivery drivers arrived to pick up orders. At least three (all of whom appeared to be of Middle Eastern descent, cultures in which dogs are generally feared) walked in and were too terrified of the (large!) off-leash dogs to walk all the way to the other end of the bar to pick up their deliveries. And I don't just mean nervous, they were truly fearful and uncomfortable. Rather than bring the deliveries to these drivers as they all kindly requested (the bar was essentially empty and the owner was just hanging behind the bar), he aggressively taunted them, saying condescendingly "They're just dogs, c'mon, you can walk a few feet, get over it, they won't hurt you." The only other customer at the bar even said "c'mon man, they're scared, just bring them the food," and still the owner refused and continued to taunt the scared drivers. Eventually, I ended up getting the food for them. And finally, after our food was ready, I went to pick it up at the counter and my friend and I proceeded to dig in, as we still had fullish drinks left. At this point, the owner came over and shamed us for eating food from another business inside (Whit's End also serves sandwiches), even though NOWHERE on the signage or online messaging does it say anything about not eating Tres food inside. We were apologetic, and he didn't ultimately make us leave, but he told us several times we were going to make his wife (the cook) upset by eating another company's food in front of her. I should also note that you could order from EITHER MENU from QR codes at the bar/all over the restaurant.Anyway, I will not be patronizing this business and it's hateful, culturally insensitive owner anymore.
