Very friendly, clean, fast, and accommodating. Big portions to share, solid prices, and good quality. Food is not overdressed with heavy condiments and salt is just right. The restaurant is not huge but a decent size to accommodate large groups. We parked on the street but learned they also have parking in the back.

This was the first time my wife and I had eaten here. The food was really amazing, but the portions we're really small. The place is really clean and the atmosphere was really nice and relaxing. I definitely recommend the chicken wings. I had two orders of them because they were so good. I also had the Mongolian chicken, which was amazing.

Perfect classic Chinese spot located in Uptown Seattle serving some great sesame chicken and noodles. I also highly recommend the house fried rice. They have one family style set up in the back which is perfect for a big group. They also have a fun bar and bartender so you can stop in before heading to a Seattle Kraken game which is within walking distance. The staff are awesome, all smiles, and there when you need them.Vegetarian options: Everything on the menu you can get with vegetables and tofu.Dietary restrictions: They will accommodate as necessary.Parking: You’re in the heart of Uptown and street parking either paid or for free is the way to go.Kid-friendliness: They are more than accommodating to people of all ages.Wheelchair accessibility: The entire restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

Nothing tastes fresh. The egg rolls, dumplings, wontons all taste frozen. The main dishes taste of old wok oil. I love good “American Chinese “ so I was excited to try this place. But it was very disappointing. If it is indeed the food from our childhood, they have frozen it and are reheating it in oil saved from then.

What a wonderful restaurant! Yu Mei (the owner) was extremely friendly. Customers regularly know her personally which I think speaks volumes for the friendly atmosphere and loyal customer base. Not to mention the food-- for me personally, I loved the rangoon (and ate more of it than I care to admit. In a good way.)All in all, I have had great experiences here and would reccomend it to anyone who asked. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

When I’m craving Chinese food Uptown China is my go to place. I highly recommend the flavorsome sesame chicken and the mouthwatering chicken lo mein. The service is world class and it’s a treat to have the owner Yu-Mei come and chat with your table. She goes above and beyond to make all her guests feel welcome and like family. The ambience in the bar is always great, especially while Fred the bartender is working. His style of service and sense of humor combined with incredible cocktails will always make your visit memorable and filled with nonstop laughter. If you’re looking for great Chinese food and drinks look no further than Uptown China.
