Amazing dinner experience! The chef has exquisite taste, his Foie gras is so perfectly cooked, best in Seattle 100% Last time we had it in Maximillien and it was complete disgrace to both product and french cuisine Great choice if wines for very reasonable prices. Strongly recommend Omakase experience.

Violet is a hidden gem of the Capitol Hill dining scene. The service, menu selection, and ambience are all top notch creating a lovely dining experience. Every dish was equally delicious, cooked to perfection and the service was seamless. This is one of my family's favorite restaurants in Seattle!

I was thrilled to relocate William Belickis and his restaurant Violet, named after his grandmother and daughter. The Omakase tasting menu with wine pairings was stunning and very reasonably priced. From the tuna crudo to steelhead salmon, grilled artichokes, lamb course and chocolate mousse dessert, each paired perfectly with the wines. Stellar service, candle-lit, upbeat ambience, and the food quality-presentation will ensure my return!

I don't give 5 stars all that often, especially for restaurants these days. As shared in the reviews, the service was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious. We were there for my friend's birthday and they greeted us with sparkling red wine, which was a delightful way to start and made the occasion feel as special as it was from moment one. The cocktails were wonderful, too.A bonus is that we could HEAR each other - the background music was just that and the acoustics handled the noise well.I'd definitely go back.

As always, we enjoyed a wonderful meal and gracious service and hospitality. Our almonds and olives with well poured cocktails kicked things off, followed by the perfect salad. Our mains were loin of lamb and the steelhead in a cauliflower brown butter—all shared with a great Pinot Noir available by the glass. I asked for my favorite foix gras which was served on a perfect compliment—a waffle rather than traditional toast points, which was fabulous! We then had the crème brûlée and chocolate desserts, with coffees, to polish off another great experience. Always a treat, always on point. Love Violet!

Absolutely one of the best meals in Seattle. A great date night restaurant. Chef William is a talented master of flavors, charming and knowledgeable. He truly made the evening with his excellent suggestions for our dinner.

Been here many times. Tonight we all had the Omakase, chefs choice and wow! Every course was amazing!!! Started with raw oysters with an insane minionette, scallops, salmon, lamb, insane chocolate cremaux with wine poached pear. Chef William spoke with us for awhile and he is so personable. You can tell he really loves what he does. They accommodated dietary requirements no problem. Definitely one of my fav restaurants in Seattle. Always good!

I've been eating here for five years and Chef Belickis is always there manning his small cooking station with a sous chef and turning out beautiful delicious food. If you sit close by you get all of the smells and can see the action, which is a fun experience. The wine list is always curated and reasonable for the high quality he features. There is also a good cocktail list. Service is very good with many of the same servers there for long periods of time. If you eat there even semi-regularly they remember you and treat you well. Parking around Violet is pain, but it's worth it. Highly recommend.

The food and service was wonderful! Great value for what you're paying for. Great ambiance, and noise level was on the lighter side so you can have a nice conversation with your meal. Highly recommend!

We had the Omakase (tasting) menu. It was amazing. Chef, of course, has a long history of making great dishes, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and engaging - an absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end.

The service is great! Friendly staff truly committed to provide a good service. The food is delicious, though the portions could be a little bigger, not enough if you are really hungry. The risotto (vegetarian) is top notch.

Violet was amazing. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and they were so accommodating! The food was delicious and the wine parings were perfect. The chef came to our table for a chat and gave us a special drink too. It was one of the best dining experiences we've had!

Lovely birthday dinner for my bestie! Perfectly portioned, seasoned and plated! Everyone including the owner (Chef William) were hospitable and grateful for having us at the restaurant. Glad we opted for the American Omakaze( 5 course meal) which was a pleasant surprise... Our favorites were the tuna and the foie gras. The first glass of Lambusco red wine was initially served on the house ( as we're celebrating a special occasion), Loved it so much we got the whole bottle! Thank you for the generous appetizers— olives, almonds, prociutto, white anchovies, served while the Omakase was being prepared. We will definitely be back soon!
