At the end of the day, they still had enough of my favourite buns that I went home with almost a dozen of 4 different types! Best I had in a very long time.

Classic hong kong pastry shop They have whole cakes and cake slices ready for purchase day of, but I've also ordered customized cakes from them. The value for what you get is great, especially their breads. For more money you can get similar items from 85 degrees or tous les jours, but they're way smaller than the ones here. I thought the breads were soft and fluffy, the crunchy top on both were good too. The cake is a standard asian cake, not too sweet and light. Excited to come back and try their other items!

This place has definitely seen better days but the signage outside the shop is pretty faded/gone and looks a little run down, HOWEVER. Good pricing, especially being in International District I believe it was the owner who greeted us and informed us to let him know if we needed anything. Delicious cake, I only got the fresh strawberry cake Good variety of bakery goods Would come here again

This place is so good! All their pastries are affordable especially given their hefty weights. The taste is really good as well, the bread is fluffy and the top covered in this flaky crust and the filling ratio is also sufficient. My favorite is the taro bun, I think it's the best taro bun I've ever had and I've had a lot in my life.

Hella good bolobao. We came here twice when we only had 2 days in the city. Bao was soft and you could almost taste the stretchiness that comes from the roux Chinese people use to make the bao. The cookie part of it also didn't crumble into nothingness and separated from the bao well. 9/10. Great place for bolobao

I got a slice of chestnut cake as well as a pork bun and taro bun. The bread for the buns were quite dry and were skimpy on filling. The cake slice was good but could use more chestnut flavor. Ok if you have a craving but might opt for another option next time.

The greatest bakery of all time! The only place in the US where you can find authentic Hong Kong style Mexican buns. To die for!

We were searching for the perfect cake to celebrate a birthday and found exactly what we were looking for. We ordered the taro cake and LOVED it! It looked gorgeous and tasted even better. The cake was fluffy, the icing was creamy and sweet, and it had a delicious taro layer inside. It's easy to skip this place since the outside walls are boarded up, but definitely don't pass it by!

Not a sit down place, only take out. No bubble tea, we ordered from the opposite place oasis.Ordered - bbq pork bun, sweet bbq pork bun, coconut bun, sweet bun, sweet red bean bun, coconut cream bun. Each one was fresh and the taste was awesome. The kids loved it too.Fri nelu service. Don't get fooled by the outside boarded up demeanor. Very good prices and definitely will visit again!

It is open!!!First time customer here and bought a mixed fruit cake for my b-day, love it! Soft and fresh cream, bouncy sponge cake and good variety of fruits. It is just like the cakes I had during my childhood time, will definitely come back again!和小时候吃的奶油蛋糕一模一样?

I was looking for a quick and easy place to pick up some pastries before heading to a friend's house and stopped in to grab a few things. From the outside, it looks as if they are closed because the windows are boarded up, but they had the door open and an open light on, so I headed in. They had good selection still on a Sunday afternoon, so I grabbed 6 breads and 3 egg tarts are only around $20! They have great prices, similar to pricing pre-COVID, so I will definitely be back! They also had a lot of great cake options, so keeping that in mind for the next time I need to pick one up. Highly recommend if you're looking for a simple, quick option that is both affordable and yummy, and gives an opportunity to support a great small business in the ID!

Sampled only a few items but the pretty good. Char siu bao needs a little more filling the proportion is off. Filling was very good though and without the ugly red dye used at many places.

Excellent pasties and awesome staff. The mexican sweet bread on the left side was SUPER good. It's a "concha" style with nice fluffy bread and good sweetness.
