“This store has NOT always had a positive association with me. My food would be wrong and the service would be rude or laughable. That is until about a year ago when things got A LOT better. Now it's Better food quality, speed of service and some of the best customer service I've seen anywhere. When greeted, customers are spoken to politely and respectfully, whether at the doors or speaker box; the food is brought to the table with a smile while dining in and quickly and with that same smile in the drive-thru. I haven't seen anyone leave the Shelton Dairy Queen not wearing a smile on the way out in a long while. They have had to put locks on the bathrooms, but keeping the employees and customers safe indicates respect, caring and quality, which they now deliver daily.Kid-friendliness: What's more friendly than chocolate dipped with sprinkles?! Not much. There are highchairs and a booster seat for when the "little ones" are accompanying the adults.“
“We love this place! Pizza's are awesome. We tried a few different sandwiches all are excellent. But their Ruben sandwiches are the best in town. We always leave with a quart or two of their Olympic ice cream. Great homemade cones and the shakes...well let's just say we are big fans of the food and the entire crew?“
“Incredible!Visited in September 2023. It’s a hike to get there, but it’s a lovely family-owned business and the owner was delightful to chat with. We left with the peaches and cream (phenomenal), coffee flake (amazing), and vanilla (decadent and perfect). We were also given samples of the spiced pear sorbet (beautiful) and chocolate garlic (WOW—so unique and delicious!).We’ll bring a cooler next time to stock up!“
