Must try the beef short rib pho. The soup was very thick and savory. The portion was huge. Everything was pretty much “authentic”, even the service was just right for the pho place.

Truly authentic Vietnamese noodles. Not only do you get the authentic food you also get the authentic vibe inside the restaurant. Great service. The best pho I’ve ever had!

No frills hole in the wall authentic Vietnamese food. I got bun rieu and I was so surprised it came with real crab meat. My hhusband’s pho tai was also equally good! Come here if you want affordable Vietnamese food! Will be back to try other items on their menu!!

I'm not sure how this place is so highly rated. The pho broth is bland, they skimp out on the meat in the pho. The noodles seem thin and cheap for a pho. $16 for a large pho is expensive and I'd expect quality for that price which is not the case. The other reviews regarding shady charges are also true. Based on the menu, I was supposed to pay $22 but when I went to pay that suddenly became $25. There's a lot of other pho places around that are better.

I got a vegan pho. It was delicious. Good place to sit and have a good dinner. They had veggie broth which is great for a vegan like me. A little more flavored/salty broth would be great. They charge $2 more for credit card payments which I can totally agree as a small business owner. I paid cash. They could do better with receipts. No receipt given to me, but even for others it was a notebook receipt given. Just good enough parking available for a place right on 99/Aurora. Suggestion to owner: Play some light music, it will add to your ambience. I recommend this place, overall!Vegetarian options: Has vegan broth!!!Dietary restrictions: vegan-friendly

I have been coming here for 10+ years. It's been about 8 months since I've ordered the Chicken Pho takeout. I'm SO disappointed... the portion was MUCH smaller, and the broth tasted completely different. It used to be $10 for the large, and it is now $16.00!?? The chicken was extremely dry, and the broth was clear vs. the other version that was more like chicken stock. I was able to make at least two meals with the previous version of their large chicken Pho. I was willing to overlook the horribly cramped parking issue, but It's time to search for a new Pho place.

Used to be good. Not anymore.Bring cash for your food. Otherwise they will charge you $2.5 fee for using cards. They no longer serve free hot tea and lychee drinks. It’s $1 for each customer.A bowl of pho is $16.Price change is happening everywhere after covid. However, their raised prices are ridiculous and steep. The restaurant atmosphere is still very dark and smoky with no vent or air circulation. Also the owner guy becomes very blunt.Time to find a new pho spot in Shoreline now.

Service at this place isn't very good, even when it's empty. I waited for a solid 15 minutes until every other table had their food and still wasn't asked if I wanted anything or even given water. Heading down the street to my old fav at 145th and Aurora instead, I have other things I need to do today! The menu did look good. I'm sure the food is good too if they like your looks and are willing to serve you. I'll never know!

A friend had me try spring rolls recently so I decided to look up some near me and found Pho 99. The picture in the review photos looked exactly like what I had but definitely not what they are like. The cucumber and lettuce are too much and there isn’t much inside.

This is by FAR my absolute FAVORITE pho place around!! It is an amazing family owned business. The older he this the sweetest! My mom and I will walk in and he greats us, brings us water and confirms our order (we go way too often ?) my go to the #19 with no cilantro due to an allergy and they are amazing about taking it seriously. Sometimes there is cross contamination but they take care of it.Dietary restrictions: Once a restriction is communicated they do their best to abide by it.Parking: Parking absolutely sucks! There is limited parking in the front, there is more parking down behind but that is also limited.

Crooked as hell. I ordered the small Pho. It was like $13 and some odd cents. They gave me a water with two pieces of fruit in the bottom of it. I asked what it was and they said lychee fruit. Interesting. Never had it before. Delicious. Finish my meal and went up to pay. The guy showed me a portable calculator not using a cash register that read $18 even. So you know he's not always paying taxes. Told me $18 even. I had already put $2 in the tip jar. I went out to my truck trying to figure out how a small Pho came to $18. I walked back in and asked. He said taxes. I said that much ? He then said and lychee fruit water $1. I said I never ordered that. He then said $2 debit card fee. I then showed him I had a $20 in my wallet and would have paid cash then. But it's still a lie because how did he already have 18 on the calculator before even knowing if I was paying with card or cash? I reached into the tip bowl and grabbed my $2 back out and turned around and walked out the store. Won't be coming back here again just because of his morals. That's too bad, the food was good.
