Loved the food from the previous owner, now not so much. Ordered Pho and a Banh mi... the Pho had the raw meat in a separate bag and the broth wasn't warm enough to cook it, had to put it on the stove and heat it again. The flavor... only came from the onions and lime on the side... broth had no flavor at all. The meat on the banh mi wasn't bad what little there was of it. Was mostly just bread and not good bread either. Even disappointing Pho places I've always finished everything but with this lunch even though I was hungry most of the food went in the trash bin. So disappointing especially since the staff is so nice. Can't say I'd even give it another try.

However, I’m pleasantly surprised by the new management at Bamboo Bowl.I really enjoyed the grilled pork spring roll. I’m officially a fan.Next up was the steak pho, and it did not disappoint. The broth was rich and beautifully seasoned.I’ve already made up my mind—I’ll be returning to Bamboo Bowl countless times.

We tried the old Bamboo Bowl when we moved to the area a decade ago and hated it. We heard the place had new owners so came back to try it again this evening. It is leaps and bounds above what it used to be. All the veggies in everything were super fresh, broth was delicious, prices very fair and they have cute little booths and a refreshed interior.On top of that the guy running the place was exceedingly kind and the service was top notch (something you don't usually get at a Pho spot.) They also brought out free cream puffs at the end of the meal.We'll be back for sure! Excited to have a solid Pho place in the neighborhood.

So I hear that it's under new ownership. I would consider the previous Pho good but not special. Same for the Banh Mi. I always was satisfied after eating there.
