We arrived just before nine Saturday morning, and since nobody was at the front counter, we sat ourselves. Server walked past us twice and totally ignored us. After ten minutes we got up and left. In that time the server has hardly in our area and it looked like others were dealing with miserable slow service. Never even saw a person refilling coffee cups. Had a great breakfast just down the street at first and union.

This is one of those places that charges what I call the SNEAKY TAX. Or "service charge"They add this to your bill and want you to tip your waitress on top of it. Or maybe they dont care if you tip or not. The excuse, I guess, is that you are helping pay for the waitstaff benefits. I have never had bad service here, and I feel like the staff are the ones taking the hit the most on this. The food is mediocre at best and overpriced before they add that extra 8%.Im pretty sure that my company doesn't charge a sneaky tax when someone orders a sign to help pay for their staff.I won't go there anymore. And I check ahead at other restaurants to make sure that isn't being done.

Been coming here since I was little , it's comfort food, it's a staple in my eyes, food is always on point and the menu is huge. it's hard to choose what to get. Breakfast is usually what we get, they have great eggs Benny. Their biscuits and gravy is so good I get the gravy on its own! Service is always good!

I wanna start by saying I myself am a server and work in a busy restaurant. the FOOD WAS AWFUL!!! The service was nonexistent, the best part of our visit was the drunk guys at the bar making jokes. I should have known better when I saw the other table have to send their food back… we tried but won’t be going back.
