After being a loyal restaurant patron since the owners opened their doors years ago, I am incredibly disappointed by my recent experience. Won’t be back because of the bar staff, who said inappropriate and unprofessional things to me while waited for service.

First negative review for me. Great food as recently as last week when my husband and I brought our son last week for a delicious steak dinner. They were busy in the bar with a Zags game on, but our server was fantastic and was tipped accordingly. I was excited when we were invited to a birthday party, but a little disappointed to find out the full menu was closed (we arrived after 9pm). I've only ever had great experiences in the restaurant since its owners opened its doors--a relief after them having sold Casey's Place (loyal customer there too). I've dined in regularly over the years and placed dozens of orders to-go (club is my go-to). The young ladies serving the side room for the party were pleasant, unlike the ill-mannered, boorish staff in the bar. I waited for 5 minutes at the bar without anyone asking to help me. I asked a friend if something happened before I arrived because everyone seemed grumpy, and a server who walked up replied that I was the only person there who was being "rude" and told me she didn't like the way I was talking to her coworkers. I was genuinely confused and thought she may have mixed me up with another patron, so I asked if she was serious first, then explained that I had only just arrived 10 minutes before. I asked the bartender if she thought I had been rude to her, and she said, "No, not to me." I had only spoken to one other bartender to order soda (and my husband ordered a beer), and I asked about the menu--I didn't interpret that first interaction as negative though. As I continued waiting for assistance at the bar, I told the party hosts about the incident--I thought it would be best to let them know since they booked the party. The same bartender who just said I hadn't been rude to her began to shout and curse at me, telling me I could leave if I was going to "start s%#t". She went on to say I was "staring" at the one who called me rude, and "telling my friends" about what she had said to me. I told her I wasn't starting anything and that I was appalled by how they treat patrons. She told me I could "go back to the party or leave." I explained I had only been at the bar area because I was waiting to ask for a refill of my Diet Pepsi. I'm unsure if someone misinterpreted my facial expressions or body language, if they thought I was drinking/drunk like the rest of the patrons there, or if they mixed me up with someone else, but I certainly had not said or done anything that should have been interpreted as rude. Accusing me of doing things I hadn't was embarrassing for me, and inappropriate and unprofessional for the staff. Because of this interaction, I don't plan to return and I'm pretty upset about it. I hope Darcy's can get some better staff or train the ones they have, so I might feel comfortable returning one day.

We had a large party for a birthday but they accommodated us really well. The server in our area was absolutely fabulous and worked really hard to take care of so many of us. It was a very comfy, homey p of experience, a very laid back clean atmosphere. The prices on everything is super reasonable, not sure how they stay in business. The happy hour specials are a super deal. Cheeseburger and fries for $8? Amazing! If you are looking for good food at a good price in the Valley, with good service in a friendly atmosphere, definitely check out Darcy's

Took my mother for lunch today. She let the waiter know she had celiac disease. He served her breaded and fried fish and tried to claim it was gluten free. After asking him to please check with the kitchen he informed us that they were not gluten free. He took them back and returned them with the breading peeled off and charged us full price for something she could not eat. Awful. Do not eat here.
We did a take out order for the first time on valentine day and the food and the service was excellent I had 3 staff members ask me if I have been helped I have never been in there and my first takeout order was outstanding we ordered the ribeye steak with a dinner salad and green beans and then a mushroom Swiss burger and a side of stuffed mushrooms omg it was all so good the ribeye was as big as the container and the green beans were fresh and the hamburger was so big and tasty and the stuffed mushrooms were a little small but they were so yummy and didn't cost a arm and a leg for the food for 2 people i would go back

Ordered a ruban the top was toasty the bottom was soggy. Wasn't super impressed, place had a real weird vibe. Super cold and not comfortable really. Staff wasn't rude, but they sure weren't nice either. I'd say keep it pushing to Denny's better quality same price.

I went here for my dad’s coworker’s retirement party.The service and food were great and the two waitresses provided superb customer service.Definitely will come back for dinner again.
