I don't normally write reviews for restaurants but the gentlemen behind the counter that served me tonight had amazing attitudes and I felt they deserved some recognition.I can go almost anywhere these days and get good food but oftentimes I find customer service to be seemingly superficial or lacking in some way. Not so tonight. The gentlemen serving me were kind and courteous and authentically so. They had great senses of humor and seemed to enjoy working there. I would have tipped them more but I'm currently out of work and America is so dang expensive these days.The chicken breast was good, mashed potatoes were amazing and he offered me cheese and green onions as toppings. While I won't be coming back as I'm headed down south tomorrow, I just wanted to take a couple of minutes to recommend this place. It was basically the same as other Dickey's that I've been to but the service tonight was amazing and it made all the difference.Thanks! ~ Micah

Ordered door dash from here. Brisket was dry, missing a drink, wrong desserts, and one of the drinks we did get was wrong.Edit: forgot to mention the bun was stale on the bottom.

For a place that is open all night they never have any food. We call ahead to see if they have a certain item and most always the answer is 'no we are out of that.' So, if you run out of chicken or brisket - make some more. Their food is OK, but the fact that they never have any is unbelievable. One time we called to place an order and the guy on the phone said he was too busy to help us. By the time he argued with us, he could have taken the order!

Some of the best service I’ve had. Usually not a huge barbecue guy, but this is for sure an exception. Meat was really tender and super flavorful and so were the sides. Definitely a must go if you are in the area!
I use to love this place, but apparently the owners decide thier customers dollar is worth much, just spent $18 plus tax to get my wife the "chicken plate" and when I got home it was like a third of a chicken breast.. my plate was $21 plus, and I received the same amount of meat just different kinds. Thankfully I got a thermal blanket this year for my smoker, I will never return and will actively keep people away from there. Don't get ripped off people!

This year’s Christmas Party at work was catered by our local Dickies. The meat, despite being in a sauce, was tough and dry tasting. Mac and cheese was tasteless and mushy. Left most on the plate.

As someone who lived in Dallas for quite a few years, I've found it difficult to find GOOD, authentic barbecue here in the Spokane area. I was happy to find Dickey's here in the area, and tried the north side location. Sad and disappointed. NOT what I had come to know and love living in Dallas. Tried the valley location after I was able to get over the disappointment of the north location. WINNER WINNER, BBQ CHICKEN DINNER! THAT'S the Dickey's I know and love! Totally worth the price and the minor wait time to get QUALITY barbecue. Keep it up.Update: As a totally satisfied customer of the Spokane Valley Dickey's, having actually MET Roland Dickey in Texas and had his actual brand of BBQ, I can say that this location is the real deal. They subscribe to the Dickey's BBQ philosophy and stand behind the original vision of Roland. Chris, franchise owner, has taken the reins of this restaurant and held onto the vision of Roland Dickey and brought Texas to Spokane. If you've tried the North-side Dickey's and been disappointed, just give them a moment and a second chance. North Spokane and Coeur d'Alene, your true Dickey's is coming! Their ownership and management has changed recently and will be bringing you the TRUE AND AUTHENTIC Dickey's Texas Barbeque in the VERY near future without having to go to the Valley location.My only complaint would be, bring back the buttered bread machine! That really made the sandwiches!As of 12/15/23, I have it on good authority that the north side Dickey's is now up to Roland's standards, so go give them a try or another try if you've been disappointed by them before.Parking: Ample free parking.Kid-friendliness: Bring the kids. They're gonna love it!Wheelchair accessibility: Roll on in. No problem.

Why have a sign that says drive thru 24/7 if no one is actually there to answer it?No broken speaker sign, no one at window. Wanted to give it a fair shot but after pondering the prices at a silent speaker for far too long figured it was best I saved my money

I order delivery from here a few times every couple of months. They always forget the bbq sauce. Like how do you forget the main thing your place is known for? For the love of God please make sure your orders have the bbq sauce. Its every order I get at this point. Safe to say wont be ordering anymore.
