Went to have tacos at 4:00. We met another couple there and when we arrived they were already there and had already had drink. It took a good 10 minutes for her to come to the table. We ordered our drinks and she drought them to us. Someone in our group noticed no one there was eating so we went to the bar and asked if they served food and told her we were there to have tacos, the bartender said yes we have food. We sat at the table till 4:45 and decided to go eat somewhere else. We even had to go stand at the bar to pay our bill. As we were leaving, the bartender yelled “we have plenty of tacos and rolled her eyes.

Depends what you're looking for, but this is like a "Cheers' just a little on the trashy side. Depends what you're after. Lighting sucks, but it you like cheap liquor and lottery tickets, why Heck, this is your place! Service is good, karaoke nights are fun... some good local talent. People are friendly, which is great. Expect to get into a conversation, and expect to be recruited. They're like a family. Cheers!

Service was slow which was expected with 1 person running the whole place...took our son for his 21st birthday & we asked right upon arrival if everything on the menu provided was available & was told yes. Upon getting ready to order we were then told that some of the breakfast items were not available so worked around that but then when the breakfast ordered was delivered it was not including the hash browns the menu advised it came with so that was disappointing but nothing taken off for not getting the full ordered meal then after paying it revealed that along with not getting the hash browns expected that we were also charged extra for the bacon that was also listed as part of the meal. There was also an additional charge of 3.99% for a Customer Service Fee that wasn't mentioned or noted anywhere on the menu & the tax on the total was 9.0% and we are in an area that charges 8.9% so they are charging more for that as well. All of this was on our first time trying this bar due to the bar next door we thought we were going to be taking our son to is closed on Sundays. We will never visit again & will advise against this place to any of our friends or family that ask about it as well. Hoped for more than this out of a close local bar that now will never be visited again.

Where to start? Thievery. Let's start there. Local bar that we fell in love with years ago. Karaoke was great. Facility was very small. Drinks were a great value and the staff wasn't fast, but competent. It was called the C** Inn back then. But Spokane is a bunch of tightass puritanical fools. So now, Green City Saloon. Whatever. Celebrating my wife's birthday. Had some friends join us. The Karaoke was the same KJ from way back. Good guy who's ear may be failing because the karaoke is mixed badly. Sad, really because he was so good at this. New ownership changed a few things. Updated POS, better staff, higher quality products. I'm good with that. Better hole, same wall. My wife ordered a vodka/soda/lime...tall. It came, she was delighted. Throughout the evening, she ordered 3 more. She was drunk, but not over the top. I was with her the entire evening. I know she had 4 drinks. As our evening wound down, I went to close out our tab with Susan, the bartender. A digital display flips, it shows a total subtotal and tip options. She had good service, so I tipped appropriately. Then it went to $75 and change. I figured maybe she bought a drink or two for our friends. I know drink prices went up a lot. Digital receipt was sent and I was blown away. Start at the charging for 7 drinks, not 4 AFTER I asked my wife. When asked why we were charged for 7, Susan stated "I'm not going to argue with you! You had seven!" Aggressive lying is the only thing that pisses me off more than regular lying. Susan is flatly a liar and professional thief. In addition. GCS is a corporate thief. Added to our charges were a $4.55 charge for karaoke. Charging CUSTOMERS for the Karaoke?!? WTF? A customer service fee of 3.99% ABOVE the tip. This percentage INCLUDES the tip, so it's just that much more aggressions. If I'm laying a customer service fee, why am I tipping as well?Transparency in this system is non-existent. They don't itemize the purchase before they swipe the card or before you sign. Simply prompt for a tip and a signature. Ideally, they'd get the benefit of the doubt. However, through the last couple years, we are not the only ones to whom this has happened. Their ONLY Saving grace was a next morning refund for three drinks. While it was appreciated that they made THAT part right, what they didn't correct spoke volumes. The refusal to apologize for the attempted thievery or shitty attitude from Susan. Simply stating it wasn't worth checking the tape from security cameras. If so, then they are suborning thievery. Literally supporting the thievery. This is unacceptable. This is an ongoing criminal conspiracy. Not because of one incident for us. But how many people, too inebriated to know better, simply sign off and don't know they are being scammed? Suffice it to say, we'll never attend this once-great, now-crappy little hole.
