They treated my sister HORRIBLY when she worked there. She was hired as a cake decorator, having gone to school specifically for such a role, only to be treated like a work mule in endless small tasks. They never refuse an order, no matter how understaffed they are, meaning several people work overtime and even work off the clock to get everything done. Not to mention everyone gets paid the same ($18 an hour) which sounds nice until you realize that some people have been there for 30 years and still get paid that much. Horrible business practices, horrible management, horrible work ethic. Do not support this business.

The Tuxedo Cake and Chocolate Chocolate Chip have been family favorites of ours for more than 30 years.The only way we could love it any more is if they would ship their cakes! The service has always been fantastic and they have always graciously accommodated any special requests. The cakes are not cheap, but you get what you pay for and they are worth every penny!Parking: Parking is right out front of the entrance and the Handicap Parking is right to the left of the entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: Stepless entry

I can’t rave about this business enough. I called 3 hrs before pick up (make sure you call 24 hrs before, I sucked in this situation) and told her I needed 12 assorted cupcakes for a cowboy 1st birthday party and the color scheme. I showed up to get these delicious beauties & they didn’t charge me anything extra for the cowboy hats & horse shoes they hand made. I’ve purchased in the past a raspberry white choc cheesecake as well and that was out of this world. They go above and beyond for the customer and I’ve NEVER been disappointed! Beyond affordable for the quality in taste and presentation! Thank you so much!!

Just American Desserts outdid themselves! My spouse ordered 24 cupcakes, and a small single tier cake to celebrate my masters degree. Not only were the cupcakes and cakes gorgeous and exactly what I had hoped for, they were also delicious beyond compare. The party guests were so impressed and asked who baked the cakes all night!

I called to get a cake for my birthday. I told them I am allergic to cream cheese and just wanted butter cream and they refused to make the cake that way and said that they can only do frosting with cream cheese in it. What kind of a bakery doesn't know how to make frosting without cream cheese in it??Super disappointed.

We did an orange cake with vanilla custard cake years ago for our wedding. It's still a topic for our guests. They did an amazing job and it was a beautiful cake as well. Highly suggest using this bakery. They were great and easy to work with as well.

We had the red velvet and cream cheese buttercream cake for our wedding cake and it hands down has to be the best cake I have ever tasted. My husband and I are big dessert lovers and just American hits it out of the park. We had the mini desserts for our guests and an extra box saved for us to have later and they were almost as delicious as the cake. Sue was very nice to work with and made sure we had answers to every question you wouldn’t normally think about when picking out your wedding dessert. We highly recommend them!

I wish I took a photo after it was out of the box. This cake was beautiful and beyond expectations. Everyone at the celebration was asking where it was from and had massive compliments to the bakery. This is a 3 layer chocolate cake with fudge filling and chocolate frosting cake. We will absolutely be ordering for future events.
