Ok, I have recently become a fan of Poke. Love the food! However, I have to give only half of the stars and I'll list the reasons why.1. Attitude. They have a lot of it. Not friendly. Don't even smile.2. Attire... this is the 2nd time I've come in and the young lady didn't have any pants on. She was wearing a long shirt that covered her bum, and possibly swimsuit bottom, and what appeared to be a swimsuit top tied around her neck. She wears pigtails and is attractive but the lack of hospitality really makes me not want to go there... but it's so good. I suppose we'll just have to resort to going to another location. If a person comes in and they're spending money on family, or just themselves, it's nice to have, I guess, old-fashioned service. Where someone behind the counter is happy you chose their restaurant over hundreds of others, can smile, and have a friendly conversation that doesn't require a scantily dressed lady to bring in customers? The food sells itself! Lol. Maybe if the attitude went up so would the amount of customers. There was some music playing but I think that was the only other nice experience besides the good food. Boxes were piled on some tables in the back that were there a couple of months before when we came in the first time.*Mid-writing this, I decided to review the reviews. I can see that I'm not the only one who has experienced below-par customer service, and to answer one of the reviews, maybe, now we know how they're keeping their doors open. Maybe I should take the name literally.I suppose you don't have to be nice but at least be professional and at minimum, be decently dressed. Thank you.

Friendly staff greets you as you enter the store. Ahi Tuna poke bowl was quite good. All of the ingredients seemed fresh. The rolled ice cream was delicious. And as a bonus the kids loved watching them make the ice cream in front of them. Overall no real complaints. Recommended

The service was wonderful! The young man behind the counter took his time to answer questions about the food and to make suggestions on what would make a good dish.If you order ice cream, you get to stand there and watch it being made. The staff has some great skills and takes their time to create the rolled ice cream. It was like a piece of art when served, and the flavor was great!

We ordered pick up and our portion sizes were soo disappointing. I knew I should've drove the extra miles to go to the one on the south hill, they do not disappoint! We will not be back

Very good food, they are also very quick. The only reason I give a 3 for service is not based on skill, efficiency, speed, ect. Because that's a 4-4 1/2, but sometimes it's hard to understand some of them because of their accent. But after a while their accent is not a problem and you can understand them better.(more or less better) But that is my only complaint because their food is amazing, you get what you pay for (or slightly more in my opinion) they have a small but amazing drink selection, and that's just the Poké dishes. Their rolled ice cream is fantastic and the best I've had (not saying much because I've only had theirs lol.) But their establishment is awesome and I hope to see more customers soon.Dietary restrictions: Most seafood based things are decently healthy if you look past the sodium.

I felt rushed as I walked in and was greeted by "what can I get started for you?". I haven't even had a chance to look at their menu as I wanted to see prices and how their ordering system works. I was not the only one greeted this way, other customers were too! Maybe they should say hi, welcome, or have you been here before? The food here is okay. I've been to their other locations and different poke bowl type restaurants outside of Spokane. This location though, their portions for protein are small! Did not even get a full scoop of the fish. Another protein option was imitation crab while other poke restaurants have this as a topping. They do not have fountain drinks. They sell canned or bottles drinks to include bottled water. The seating area is good. I can't remember if they played music or not. The lighting could be a little brighter. The other locations have a brighter ambiance.

This place is a quick and easy place to get a quick lunch or dinner. I love poke and this is a regular rotation for me and my husband. The owner is usually on his phone, which annoys me because he is not focused on customer service, hence 4 ⭐. I have reduced the amount of times I go for myself. I still go in for my husband. The young woman with braids is an excellent customer service person. She is awesome at her job. Hopefully you get her to do your bowl.

Terrible customer service, the owner or manager was extremely rude. Practically yelled at us while we were ordering our meal and to top it off when we ordered our poke bowl to go he didn’t even follow the instructions and did what he wanted. Worst customer service ever and the gentleman that came in after us was also appalled at his manner. Notably when we entered the Poke Express he seemed upset that we came in, he then carried his conversation with whoever he was speaking with on his phone and did not even acknowledge us until we said can you help us. We ordered poke bowl and ice cream. He over charged us on the ice cream evidently it is no longer 6.99 but now it’s a different price. After serving us the ice cream I told him that he was missing some ingredients and I pointed out on the paper menu that he did not give us the total amount of ingredients. Honestly not sure how he keeps this establishment open from the treatment he gives customers, I hope he can change his attitude and give at least the bare minimum of customer service because this was down right awful.

We were here a couple months ago but won't be back. The food was good, the servers pleasant but the manager/ owner ruined it for us. He was talking loudly on his phone in the small eating area, then hawked up a loogie and spit it in the garbage can 8 feet from where we were eating. How disgusting! I'll be sticking with the Wandermere Poke Express.

Healthy. Inexpensive. Delicious. What more could you want? Seriously, this is my go to place for good reason. Cannot recommend enough. That being said, I have had a bad experience here where the salmon was tough and chewy. If that happens, get your money back. But it is well worth the risk. The Ice cream rolls are really awesome too! I'd suggest one of the flavors they use real fruit for. Oh, and don't expect to sit in here. I mean, there is seating, but the vibe is just not there. It's not untypical for the chef to be on a phone call having a heated conversation in Chinese.

Food is FANTASTIC. Owner is rude and SO gross! Hacks phlegm out of his throat while loudly speaking in Chinese to people on the phone all WHILE SERVING YOU and asking questions in between his conversation on the phone. I never even know when he's talking to me. Other times there has been a 10 year old boy serving. Child labor?? LolBut if you can brave the bad service and awkward silence between his phone conversations, you'll get some seriously great poke ??
