Wow, I have NEVER had such poor service. You can not get waited on in this place. People line up at the bar and they only wait on them not the people actually SITTING AT THE BAR!!!!!

this place always takes great care of us. Faith, Brett and Sarah provide us great service, great food and lots of good times. I do wish they had more open lanes more frequently but it's a good spot.

My recent visit to Players and Spectators was a letdown, primarily due to the disappointing service from the bartender. The establishment itself has a great vibe, with an inviting atmosphere that suggests a top-notch experience. However, the service at the bar fell short of these expectations. The wait time for drinks was longer than reasonable, especially given that the place wasn't overly crowded. This issue might have been less noticeable if not for the bartender's attitude. His demeanor was not just unenthusiastic but bordered on rudeness, making the wait feel even more tedious and unpleasant. It seemed to me that the bartender's skills and temperament might be more suited to a role away from direct customer interaction, possibly in the kitchen. Such a shift could significantly improve the customer experience, making it align better with the otherwise appealing environment of Players and Spectators. In conclusion, while Players and Spectators has a lot of potentials and offers a great setting, the level of service, particularly from the bar staff, needs improvement. Enhancing this aspect would truly make the experience at Players and Spectators as outstanding as its ambiance suggests it should be.

16 lanes closed for leagues, 4 reserved for 1 birthday party. They apparently make too much money, don't waste yours here.

Went to company party .the food. Spaghetti and liquinni was ice cold. Would have been good but I think they took right from cooler to the table. 100 people there and very little ice cold food. Don't think we will be back

My boyfriend and I and our daughter went to bowl on a Friday night. The place was clean and food was great! we received Awesome service from a blonde gal at the food counter. I forgot to write down her name but she was so nice and just treated like family. Definitely will be back.

They have done a lot with this place over the years. There's lots of room and lots of things to do. Bowling, pool, cornhole, arcade games - there's definitely something to keep you busy. It's really big inside, lots of space - not a ton of decor, but that doesn't matter. The service is super slow, but they are busy and trying. Everyone was helpful and kind. The food is what you'd expect from a bar. The wings are good and the drinks are STRONG and priced fair. It's a good place for some cheap fun. Not fancy, not speedy service, but what you'd expect. We will go back - we always do

Came here to celebrate with some friends and for a bowling alley it's pretty cool! There is typically a long wait to get a lane which sucks but I love that they have cornhole in the bar area ($4 to rent the boards and another $3 if you don't bring your own bags). A pitcher of beer is $12-$15 and food is pricey for this type of establishment but it is way better food than your average bowling alley($20+ for a large pizza) I tried the appetizer sampler for $17, wasn't worth that price for frozen bar food but if you are planning on hanging out here then it's convenient.

Sometimes ya just want a plate of grub tossed at ya, sitting on a bar stool in front of sports on TV--with no grandiose expectations other than a full belly. I certainly bestow that distinction on this joint, and the fact that the folks here were great was a nice bonus. One of my sons and I had a nice, 'dude lunch,' and that experience means more to me than some expensive meal downtown. I begrudge no one for their dining out choices, but in this 2023 day, I know I will be satisfied coming to a place like this. I make the choices I do for selfish reasons. Familiarity and frugality...

1 star review from someone who used to regular players. As of 5/1/22 I've been to Players & Spectators II 6 days in a row genuinely trying to become more independent and not relying on friends to make plans/get out of the house. As of 6:30 I willingly removed myself from players after being told to "shut the fuck up" from. Across the bowling alley after saying the name "doreen" ONE time after her brother and sister said "where is Doreen? Take your guy's shot already"....I had bought myself and Doreen along with her brother, myself, and my friend Drake a shot while bowling. about 5 minutes after the drinks were delivered Doreen still hadn't been back to the table but I had seen her standing close by as her sibling said "where is Doreen?" I had finally seen her, and louder than a normal conversation said "Doreen" she paused the conversation she was having with one of her employees/cooks/boyfriends and looked at me (a 3 years old strictly friend and paying customers of the bowling alley) and said "shut the fuck up" It's now 20 minutes, later in my car and I'm typing this in disbelief of how the owner/operator Doreen Duncan thinks she can speak to paying customers and believes it's OK, she later came to sit at her lane and asked if we could go outside to talk about it and I replied "if you turn around and tell those paying customers that you don't know to "shut the fuck up" I'll go outside and talk with you" as she proceeded to walk away. Shortly after I removed myself from the building and will not be returning. As I've stated before, 5/1/22 was my 6th day in a row bowling and eating at players and spectators and 1 time did I receive a discount or any "special" which was the league discount while not actually being in a league, after being very close friends with the owner/operator of players, Doreen. I never expected a discount or free bowling but I expect GOOD service especially after all the business I've provided the Duncan family and players thru my own friends and family, but I don't receive that. I couldn't imagine how poorly people who don't know the workers of palyers or arent regulars of players are treated but even after being a regular and having connections I've had the most nasty unprofessional experience of any business I've experienced. Go to North Bowl or sunset lanes for a good time and better service.
