Everything about this place rocks. The food is phenomenal, the drinks are fantastic, and the vibe is like a speak easy but modern and is literally a hole-in-the-wall. A little pricey but worth every penny!

I ordered diet Coke, but they were out, so the staff went out and got some (or some it from the restaurant upstairs). That was outstanding. My friends took me for restaurant week. Despite the rough appearance, it's not bar slop. It's really good! It's priced accordingly, oh, inflation, but it's someplace I'd go again. It was very crowded due to restaurant week.I'd love to go when it's quiet. The stone walls do add to the background noise when you're trying to talk with your party. I'd love some sound absorbing panels to go up, but that's it. A minor quibble as I do like to drink quietly most of the time.Parking: There's parking in the front and back. Watch for the reserved apartment spots at the front.

Had fun, dinner and drinks with my uncle visiting from out of town. The lamb stroganoff was out of this world. The servers were pretty chill, you definitely had to flag them down for your next drink. For me the sweeter drinks are great for people that are not used to drinking an old fashion, and we had a few selections, they were tasty.Their seasonal old fashion was very well done and will be my go to for now on there.

Headed over for food and some drinks. All ordered was the Brisket Taquitos, Okonomiyaki Tator Tots, Tantanmen Ramen, and Almond Cake. We ordered these from what I believe to be a seasonal "fresh" menu, which was printed for that day.I also personally got the Hogwash Milk Punch cocktail under recommendation and it was dangerously good. It was so easy to drink that if given in a tall glass, I would be none the wiser. The Taquitos and the Tator Tots were really good. Even the Tator Tots stayed crispy until after the dessert was finished, excellent fry job. I was full to take any more than a single bite of the almond cake, but tasted good from what I have. The flourless nature of the cake should mean it's keto friendly?Going into the ramen: I will say that with the delicious chashu, soft boiled egg, and tasty broth; it's a shame to say the biggest thing holding back the dish were the noodles themselves. I'll admit that we had food right before the kitchen was closed up for the night, but the noodles to me were way too soft/overcooked compared to my experience with other ramens. I'm hoping it was just a one off thing for me, cause the noodles seemed to be made in house and not prepackaged.Side notes: the ramen broth was good with a spicy kick, but it's not what I would call "Tantanmen" flavor, from my experience. And the chashu would be an excellent choice if they ever just decide to do a chashu rice bowl dish.Vegetarian options: Their menu listed under every item if it is vegetarian or gluten free friendly.

Hogwash is a top favorite in Spokane. From their various burgers, chicken sandos, ramen/soups, apps, and cocktails you can't go wrong. Great whiskey selection with decent prices, even for the allocated stuff.

Really cool whiskey bar located below street level in downtown Spokane. Has a seasonal food and drink menu highlighting whiskey drinks as their specialty. Tried the burger, chicken sando and wings - all really tasty! Homemade potato chips - yum ?
