We stopped in the parking lot. Two vehicles in the lot. It looked like it was out of business. There was a construction cone on the left side, so we left.We were eager to try this restaurant out. We went somewhere else to eat.

I'm so torn trying to rate this one with stars because their sushi is some of the best I've ever had and their boba teas are super yummy. However... We had their hibachi one night and it was definitely lacking. It was not very well prepared and to be honest, it was not a great experience for my husband and I. I wish we had just stuck to the sushi!

Uber Eats delivered the wrong order and was non responsive when we reached out to both our driver and customer service. We called the restaurant directly, they advised us to let Uber Eats know so that we could get a refund and the restaurant then replaced our order in full on their own dime. They did this during a Valentines Day rush too. Could not have handled the situation better, would highly recommend. Replacement food was good too!

Normally I love ordering veggie tempura from here, it's the only place I've found that will deliver it so I usually get it for lunch and it's good but tonight I got it shortly before closing and they didn't even try. Most of the veggies are not even in batter, some of them are so squishy they're inedible, and the rest are burnt ? and their number just goes straight to voicemail every time..disappointing

So delicious! I don't like raw sushi and I appreciate they had a cooked roll section on their menu. We got the Las Vegas rolls and Kamikaze rolls. Large portions and so so good!

I had a terrible experience here. We had a new chef that overcooked everything. When we brought it up the owner publicly shamed the new chef at our table, we were mortified. Then she took him in the back and continued yelling at him. For the price we paid the food was awful. We were hoping for our food recooked or a discount from the total, it was completely inappropriate how she ridiculed him in front of everyone. At the end, she only gave us a 10% discount for our next visit, not ok!!I have gone before this experience and the food was ok. But I will never go back after my last experience.

I love the service on this place, especially the show that the hibachi chef presented!!!!!!! I recommend this place if you want to go and have a good time with family and/or friends. Food was good, and the boba teas that I tried were really good. This place can stand alone just for their bobas, in my opinion. Only little critique I have is that the restroom needed a little more cleaning (they were not bad, but I am a little picky :s). Overall my family and myself are planning on coming back more than once. If you want a good hibachi experience you will definitely get it here.

First time in today. Not gonna lie, skeptical of the sketchy run down looking building. Walking in there was no one to greet or seat customers. The young sushi chef gave us a dirty look when we walked in to find some help. We asked if there was someone available to help us? He gave no response and proceeded to roll his eyes and make it clear he had an attitude. I asked my friend if we just wanted to go somewhere else for lunch. Sushi was okay. Waitress was nice when she arrived 15 mins later. We didn’t appreciate the obvious attitude from the sushi chef. Will not be returning.

Quality of food is average. It's cooked and seasoned the same way all hibachi grills do it but the meat quality wasn't necessarily the same. I dunno. I'm not an expert. My chef Marcos was cool as hell though so I might just come back to have another beer and chat with him while he does the best with what he's got. If you go there, request him. He's a cool dude.

A must try for Spokane sushi lovers-I recommend dining in. Excellent food and service, cozy environment, wonderful new addition to our North side. Fun cocktails as well! Very fresh, and beautifully presented. The veggie tempura is the best either of us have had.

Everything the young 23 year old male cooked was burnt, tasted awful. We took home most all our food and threw it away. Get somebody experienced to cook for you.

Dillon our hibachi chef put on a good show. So fun. Gave us lots of food! The veggies were amazing. Starter salad had the best dressing. Cherry blossom drink super yum.

My lady and I came here on Father's Day for our first time to try the hibachi. I am having a hard time reviewing this place as I feel it could have went so much better. It seemed to be a slow day but one of the main chefs already had a group of about ten. We got another younger chef. He seemed nice enough but our experience soon took a terrible turn. I'm a fan of dad jokes but this guy could not stop making bad jokes to the point that it made us uncomfortable. The cherry on the top was him literally throwing rice at me while cooking as a joke. On top of all this we tried chugging our drinks to lighten the mood but he had to make a comment about that as well as making comments about how fast we were eating. He almost came off as hostile, not hospitable at all. The food came out half decent if you don't mind it being pretty salty and if you can shy away from the cracked egg shells hiding in your food. I hate to give a struggling business a bad review especially since everyone else was so good but this guy should not work here.

We had a reservation for 15 for my nephews Eastern graduation. This was one of the worst customer service/food experience I've had in a long while. It started promising as we were seated right away but that's pretty much it before everything else went down hill. The waitress had a tough time taking our orders for whatever reason. She brought out soup and salad and was short several times. I didn't think that was a tough task. The "miso soup" was basically water with several slices of green onion and mushroom. Adding soy sauce did nothing to enhance the flavor. To sum it up, it was the worst miso soup I've ever had. Our sushi rolls came out and it was mainly rice with the smallest pieces of salmon imaginable. I'm surprised it's still on the menu. Moving on to the teriyaki plate. It was slices of chicken microwaved with a splash of teriyaki sauce. It looked sad and tasted even worse. We are now 30-40 minutes in since our order was taken; no one had our food prepared to be cooked. We kept waiting and waiting. Now keep in mind, there were no other customers in the restaurant. Why would this be. Maybe I answered my own question. After asking the waitress politely about why it was taking so long, she kept insisting that it was going to be a "few more minutes." Based on how the food and service was going, my family finally and I agreed to get up and leave and pay for the food that has come out. A few employees was "surprised" that we're leaving. No one apologized, and no one wanted to remove items off our bill. We ended up paying $151 for nothing. I'm really irritated that my family experienced this as we are very compromising and understanding. This day and age I'm just really happy people show up to "work." This experience was so bad that I couldn't look past it. Hopefully no one and their family will have the same experience. Better yet, DO NOT bring your family here. I hope the restaurant get it together because they will lose business. Go to Pho Thinh. I was there yesterday and now I am back and writing this review. It's a complete 180 experience from this Kobe restaurant. Good luck everyone.
