This business is housed in the Salvation Army Building which was built in 1921 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

This is my go to Italian restaurant. Or it was before the pandemic. I can understand the need to be closed down, but as of this writing I don't understand why they are. Most other restaurants are operating at some sort of capacity. Their nearest competitor right across the street is open. Most troubling is their lack of communication, either on their website or on their Facebook page. Are they gone for good? Any kind of a reopening plan? Hello? At the end of 2019 I had family buy and send me a Luigi's gift certificate. They're in Florida and had never been to Luigi's but they knew we liked it. So far have been unable to use it because they've been closed. The certificate was only good until the end of 2020 so messaged them and was told they would extend it until the end of 2021. Would really like to use it but not looking promising at this point. So they took my family's money and have yet to provide anything for that money. They're not likely to provide a refund, so I'm seeing this as theft. Nothing more. Nothing less. Dishonorable.

We went last night. Very sad, no lights, locked door NO posted notice but very much closed and from the looks of thing, had been closed for months. After writing this I checked the website and the Covid has caused them to temporarily close - I understand but It would helpful for the owners to also post a sign at the front door. Hopefully they will reopen and recover from the pandemic in Stage 4.

We were in town on business. Always looking for a good culinary experience we went through the reviews. There were a lot of hipster northwest type restaurants and steak houses. Then we saw Luigi’s seemed old school Italian. We were not disappointed. Highly recommend.

It's fine. Nothing that'll blow you out of the water. I wouldn't choose to go here but I would have a good time if my friends wanted to go.

Luigi's is an unassuming Italian Restaurant; it's not even on the corner. The entrance is unassuming; kinda plain. The decor is not pretentious. So what's the big deal?! The food and service was TRADITIONAL; anticipation was unexpected; nevertheless, this dinner was wonderful. Part of the evening's success was my waiter, Elijah; I was bewildered because I was expecting to simply order a simple Spaghetti'n Meatballs dinner with tasty sauce, meatballs and noodles. I had forgotten that this is a real Italian eatery with a multitude of real Italian options. Options that now confounded me. Elijah was able to describe each of my several tentative choices in detail not only of ingredients but character and with consideration of my responses. He catalogued my feedback and made some suggestions. Before this consultation I would have settled for a simple pasta or Lasagna or Scampi. I ordered the Sardinia Old Fashioned Spaghetti; fabulous choice! Bacon, onions, garlic, and wine sauteed with ground pork and link sausage, simmered in marinara sauce. When served, the first thing that strikes you is the wonderful bouquet -- not just winey but much more involved with all of the ingredients mentioned earlier. What a knock-out! Then, I noticed that the spaghetti noodles were tasty in their own right and perfectly cooked; do you know how rare THAT is-- noodles with this much authenticity need to be sourced (obtained) and PROPERLY cooked. (One can cook many dinners with lesser noodles and never understand why the wonderful sauce doesn't shine.) Bottom-line - this is an old fashioned, unpretentious, family-style Italian restaurant. Unpretentious means not needing not wanting to be slick ... I read some of the less glowing reviews; for those who come here to remodel this Gem ... eat your heart-out.

The food was overdone and dry. Staff was poorly trained with bad attitude. My shrimp Alfredo had ramen shrimp instead of actual shrimp and it was a $5 up-charge for the same shrimp that come in ramen noddle packets. If you want good meatballs and sausage go to the Italian Kitchen.

Staff was kind, efficient and helpful. Food was great with large portions...We know what is for lunch tomorrow.

We were in town on business. Always looking for a good culinary experience we went through the reviews. There were a lot of hipster northwest type restaurants and steak houses. Then we saw Luigi’s seemed old school Italian. We were not disappointed. Kendall took great care of us. She was a waitress ninja. Attentive but not intrusive. The fried oysters were to die for, along with the bread and entrees. It was all wonderful. What a nice surprise.

So un-impressed with the atmosphere. We arrived about 45 minutes before close, almost empty restaurant and we were told to wait almost 10 minutes before being seated.

Feb 16 dinner for anniversary with wife and family. Wife has dementia and can only eat fettuccine. From the start, obvious they were short handed. 20” between drinks, bread, salad. When dinners finally show my wife’s fettuccine was yellow and glazed over like it had been sitting out for extended period. Wife took bite and spit out. The table all tried and agreed it was cold horrible slop. Was comped $10 on $200 tab, wow can you afford it. Have been coming off and on for 30 years and never had such crap served or slow service, what a waste of $200, Olive Garden I guess you’re it. Wrote letter to LUIGI GM, never heard a word back. Will never go back again. Advise, Go across the street to Italian Kitchen and let this dive die.

Luigi's is an old-school family Italian restaurant. The decor may be a bit dated and predictable, but don't let that fool you. The food is very good and the service is excellent. Food comes in the hearty portions you'd expect at this kind of restaurant. Get a to go box and save room for dessert. The huckleberry cheesecake and ice cream were both worth all the calories. A special note for low carb lovers: The Caesar salad is great, ask for it without croutons! Also, Luigi's is happy to replace the pasta that comes on the side of meaty entrees with a dish of sauteed fresh vegetables, so don't be afraid to join your carb-loving friends and family.

Food was plentiful and good, service was pretty terrible. We had the manager to our table after waiting 90mins for our food, the food came out shortly after but the "manager" dodged us for the rest of the night. Terrible leadership. Our server tried her best but was getting zero support.

First at bat for Restaurant Week was a solid triple into the gap in right center. Meaning, it was a safe choice with a cuisine we love, along with a good pre fixe menu without outlandish dishes that will never be on the regular menu. Our meals were excellent, and far exceeded the $22 fixed price. My Calamari app looked like one you would order any day of the week, and not some abbreviated version I thought I might see with the RW event. Our entrees (Sardinia Spaghetti/Pesto Gnocci) were massive, and a surprising amount was boxed up to bring home. Desserts were light, delicious, with a lovely presentation. Service was impeccable. They really treat you like a high-end establishment would, and this is coming from a guy who doesn't fret much about service--good or bad. I've always believed the reason a place participates in RW is to give it your A-game, and make people want to return. In that regard, Luigi's hit it outta da' park. They are now in our pitching rotation...
