An institution in Spokane's West Garland neighborhood, this restaurant's building is in the shape of an old milk bottle! My wife and I were seated promptly, and we had menus in our hands just after that! We ordered fresh-pressed homemade hamburgers that come with freshly cut French fries that were both really delicious!! Nostalgia-like, it was like walking back in time to an "old-fashioned" ice cream and soda fountain! My wife had a chocolate-peanut butter milkshake that she says, "to die for" so good!! Give them a try, and you will be happy you did!!

It's a great throwback and the food is delicious. Makes me remember when I was a kid and my dad took me to local diners for a burger and shake.

Server was very friendly, quick and helpful! Food was alright, the fries could have used more salt, but otherwise 10/10 trip, will go again!

We decided to try The Milk Bottle in the Garland District. We had spent some time at a nearby tattoo parlor and were hungry. I was a huge fan of the movie Benny and Joon, so I knew we had to try it. It is very small with just a few tables. Luckily for us, it was later in the day so it was not very crowded. We were able to find street parking fairly close, across the street. We were greeted right as we walked in. We grabbed a table right next to a window. The menu was your typical “diner food.” It is an open concept so you could see the cooks preparing the food. The waitress came over to take our order. My burger was juicy and delicious. The milkshakes are served in a tall glass with the rest still in the metal blender cup. The milkshakes had the perfect ratio of milk to ice cream. It has a very retro feel to it. Our waitress was very nice, she did not seem rushed or overwhelmed. Everything was served in a timely manner and exactly as it was ordered. 10/10 I definitely would recommend this place for a good burger and milkshake!
