Update to owner's response:The harsh 1-star was only to get your attention. You are correct that I should primarily focus my criticism towards the previous property owner for removing the trees. Who did you buy the land from? It is not showing up on the SCOUT Map tool. However, if you weren't involved in clearing the land, why do you know the exact number of trees removed? Regardless, the damage is done, and it would be awesome if you would plant or fund 7 additional trees somewhere to make up for the ones removed. And I'd be thrilled to change this to a 5 star review if you follow the guidelines of Spokane County Parks to plant two new trees for every tree removed (to make up for the fact that small landscaping trees are much less useful to the environment and animals than mature ones.)Original review: Sad how so many mature trees used to be here before they were cut down to make way for this place! Image shows what was destroyed.

With a church group they make you pay a extra $3.60 for being there. Watch your bill. If you bring in your own drink they charge you. The food is ok but none thing to right home about.

Served me a veggie burger hard like a hockey puck. I don’t care if they don’t specialize in vegetarian food or whatever. If it’s on the menu it should taste decent. Service was not well either. Floors are sticky and so was table (disgusting!). Prices weren’t even good.

Just had a great night here! Their happy hour and daily deals are great! We had the scotch eggs, calamari, strawberry chicken salad and from their fresh menu - buffalo chicken zucchini boats. All was delicious, the boats were perfectly done. It was my first scotch egg experience so I can’t compare it but it was tasty. Will definitely be back for more happy hours!

Edit after response: complaining about the state minimum wage is not a customer-centered response. I have lived in Washington my whole life, so I am only comparing this establishment to other washington state businesses, including many small businesses, I've visited. But that is all a distraction from the point. Pooles needs to figure out what will be profitable for them and create a schedule based off of that.Closed at 8, not 9. Doors were open, but they let us know they were closing things up nearly an hour early. Turned us down. If Google says they are open, I would not trust it. Save some gas and try somewhere else.
