I've eaten at every restaurant in Airway. Many places serve different needs. If I need a sophisticated or classy venue in Airway, this is only place I really consider. Not only is the food top notch and made to perfection visually and tastefully but so is the service. I once left my phone in the waiting area and the Hostess brought it to me the moment she found it laying there. The alcohol selection pairs well with the dishes offered so if you enjoy your dish and beverage complimenting each other, Rusty Moose has you covered. All in all I love this place and I highly recommend it to you if your looking for a nice location for a lovely date or even a nice place to close on that big sale with that important client. It's also close to the airport so if you're coming into town why not make your first meal be a memorable one?My recommended dish?Duck Pot Pie, hands down the most underrated dish on the menu. Please please try this!-J

Out of towners. We stopped because of the name. But it exceeded our expectations. Food was out before we even got into our conversation, on a Friday at dinner! Wagyu bugger was amazing. Our daughter is a vegetarian, and she loved her meal too. Nice atmosphere with plenty of space for private time/conversations.

Cute place with friendly staff. Lobster/Fish Bisque was delicious. Have to knock a star off for the extra 1.9% service charge just for the restaurant conveniently hiding in the bottom right of the menu. That's a little deceptive in the pricing, especially for dishes that are already a little on the pricey side.

We have been there three times and never disappointed. Prices are fair and food is excellent. Atmosphere is homie and comfortable with lots of things to appreciate all over the restaurant. We will make it irregular in our travels.Kid-friendliness: There is enough seating even for a large family.

Excellent service on a Wednesday evening. Sat in the lounge area, played roulette with dinner and it did not disappoint. Had the Duck pot pie and the Bison Meat Loaf. Excellent flavor in both dishes. We came in with reservations, and we were a large party. Our server did a great job taking care of us, we had a dozen teenagers and came in staggered, and she was fast and efficient. The only problem was that they were not able to separate our checks, and that caused quite a bit of headache at the end trying to figure out who had what. Initially, she did say she was gonna group us together with our children and number us, but for some reason, that didn't happen. So, at the end of the meal, we spent an extra 20 to 30 minutes figuring out what everybody owed.

1st time in Spokane. Rusty Moose was next door, so I thought I would give it a try. Great atmosphere as it was like a log cabin...it should be in th e NW. Sat at the bar. Started with the Rusty Moose Amber Ale, tasty and smooth. I skipped an appetizer but had a salad with blue cheese dressing. Good size salad with fresh greens. The main course was fish and chips with apple cabbage slaw on side. Went with 2-piece instead of 3, and I'm glad I did. Crispy as promised, and tarter sauce needs to be bottled. It's definitely worth the stop.

Food was good no complaints. Pizza was definitely better than the elk burger.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I was told by a bartender that although I showed no signs of being drunk and I had done nothing wrong she didn't feel comfortable serving me because I had been drinking for 2 hours. This was AFTER she asked me if I was driving, I answered no, I'm flying through, and I'm using Uber.Three other customers (strangers to me) at the bar could not believe what she said. The surf and sampler was 'ok' at best.

I had wanted to try this place for a while. Went for my bday yesterday. Had the huckleberry salmon. I had hight hopes. I love salmon and cook it all the time. It came with asparagus and mushroom risotto. The salmon was just the way my husband likes it, well done. Unfortunately, I ordered it and I do not enjoy well done salmon. It should be buttery and flake off when you dig in. It was a solid firm mass. The risotto, was, well not. It was maybe rice, but it was not creamy risotto. The asparagus stole the show. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. That is the best I can say. Service was fine. Prices were comparable to a nice steak house. My husband had the elk meatballs and said they were good. He said the pork mac and cheese left something to be desired. Nothing to write home about. Was not the memorable experience I was hoping for. When you go to a nice place and pay those prices, one expects better food. Sorry guys, probably won't return.
