We stopped for take out last weekend and went to the park to eat. We had two crisp pintos, two crisp tacos and Mexi fries. The pintos were not crisp and barely warm inside. We didn’t finish them. The taco meat was runny and didn’t taste good. This made the shell gooey and had a hard time finishing them. Now the kicker, tots were pretty good, at least the few on top. Well let me show you the finish!

Dietary restrictions: I always order a large, beef, taco salad w/extra Lettuce. It is an amazingly filling salad AND even more amazing.... it LOWERS my blood sugar 20 points after eating it! Perhaps it's just me, but this is my perfect diabetic regimen meal. For what its worth.Great staff and large dining area.
We usually have a really good experience at this taco time, however we arrived at 8:00 which is an hour before they close as listed online, and their open signs were all on, and we waited at the speaker for several minutes but were ignored. When we drove pass as leaving we noticed all the lights were still on and employees were in the building. If the hours have changed they need to be changed online, and if you have closed the open signs need to be turned off. I love this location, and I always look forward to coming here, but this was very disappointing.

I used to frequent this taco time at leased 3 times a week, but its been several years. I was in the area and decided to go in to order. Upon reaching the door there was a sign that said "No guns allowed", even concealed carry licensed people. I was surprised, i went there for 3 times a week for years. I know now that the family who owned it no longer does, or its operated by someone else. I understand businesses can set policies on how they do business. But this was the first time I've personally seen of a business In Spokane that has this policy on their door, I assume there are more. I value the constitution greatly and understand the owners right to exercise their 1st amendment rights. I value my 2nd amendment rights even more. I didn't have a chance to rate their food. (Was good several years ago). I can not in good conscience do business with a owner who has this opinion on their door.

If you’re expecting the same Taco Time food you get in the Seattle area, you’ll be extremely disappointed.. Their soft tacos are not constructed the same, and are about 15-20% smaller. The “crisp” beef burritos are not crisp throughout, and they call them crisp “meat” burritos here instead. The only saving menu item here are the stuffed mexi -fries, which yes, they still call mexi-fries here in Spokane. I’ve never found them in the Seattle area, however, they were great. Very distinctive overall, as I was expecting consistency in the menu from here to the westside..

This place is a joke. They forgot items from the order that we paid for and messed up the food we did get. On the nachos they actually added ingredients that don’t come on it. They had to add things to mess it up. We were friendly to the staff, I am not sure how or why this interaction went so poorly but at this point we won’t be going back.
