Rating two stars because it was dog friendly. Online it says they closed at 11pm every day of the week. We got here around 6:30pm and they were already closing the place up and cleaning around us. My spouse and I felt uncomfortable and we were told we only had 15 minutes to order our food/drinks. We were hoping to hang out for a little bit. Our food wasn’t hot either and we spent over $50 on two meals and two beers.

Went there for some dinner since I live in the neighborhood and always walk by the place...food was so so,I ended up having the French dip which was nice and big but lacked flavor as did the dipping juice...I would say the service could have been better as in friendlier, the waitress seemed rather snooty.....but overall the place was nice and open . Probably won't go back since I don't drink and it is more of a bar then sit and just eat kind of a place...

I can’t say enough how good the food is here. I’ve tried the mac and cheese, the fish and chips, the riverside tacos and the philly and every single dish was 10/10. The drinks are great as well, I always get a mule and my favorites are the pear and huckleberry mules. Please be aware if you’re reading this that this is a bar that happens to have a (great) kitchen, not a restaurant that happens to have a bar. So people under 21 are not allowed (and it says so on the door).

Our server was super sweet, very attentive. Buuuut our food took a really long time, when I finally got my Mac it was cold and the Texas toast or whatever for the side never came lol ? didn’t realize until I got home and was still hungry lol. Fun trivia night, great drink service but kitchen could use some work.

I would plan to eat before attending trivia. Waited almost two hours for our food before canceling our order.
I’ve tried this place three times now and all three times were pretty terrible. Food is awful, bland, undercooked, cold, overpriced. When I got home I started feeling unwell and was sick throughout the night. Service is terrible, they could care less - unless, it seems, you’re friends with the staff. I certainly felt like an inconvenience. They most definitely ARE NOT open until 11pm. Beer was nearly flat and hardly cold. I’m surprised they are still open after being so awful for so many years. So expensive too.

So I gave this place two try’s and unfortunately both times, there food left me sick and the second time had me vomiting an hour later. Also ordering food over the phone is no good, because either the phone is answered with no voice on the other side or “she” is just plain out rude, she had no manners, and then she just hung the phone up with out clarifying my order.So if you ask me it’s a place for snobs, not the neighborhood.

They are NOT open until 11. They should publicly list their hours as 1130am until “close.” We arrived two hours before closing, at 9pm, and were told that the kitchen was closed. I asked if we could get a beer, and was told “we had a big rush earlier” which is not an answer. The server was incoherent and focused on cleaning, even though there were five other customers in the bar, so we gave up and left. We live in the neighborhood and have visited many times, but never again.
