I visited this place when I visited my parents last year. It was fantastic. We sat in the bar area and our server was AMAZING. My parents always ask for her We went in for drinks and appetizers. We order about 5 or 6 different ones to share. The shrimp for the shrimp cocktail are huge. The brussels sprouts and steak bites are very good too. I can't remember the others or I'd mention them as well. All of them were delicious. The bar area was very comfortable. They also have a nice patio area, but it was winter when I visited. My parents love their Old Fashions. I also had a mixed drink that was very good. I'm moving back to Spokane in August and can't wait to be a regular customer.

Went there for lunch with four friends. The service was good and the clam chowder was the best I ever have had. I also had their scallops at dinner on another occasion, and they were wonderful. In warm weather, it's delightful to sit on their outside patio. Highly recommend.

Went there with my family and brothers family. "7 total" said it would be an hour. Came back said it would be another 45 mins. Brothers wife is pregnant and the vibe was to bad. They said that the table still only had waters and it would be another 45 min. My buddy and I use to go there every other Friday for a long time and we loved that place. After this never going back, lost a lifer. Never had this issue at Spencer's or Churchills. They treat people with respect.

Usually this place has good food and good service, but today it did not have good service and the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other. I asked our server if she could turn music down just a touch, because there were only 7 people total in the bar. She said she would ask, but she gets in trouble for turning it down...hmmm. So, the loudness remained. The waitress was nice and got our drink order rt away and then our food order. She delivered the food in a timely manner, checked back once, and then we never saw her again. Two more tables were seated in the bar and a few more in the restaurant and she was the only server. We waited 30 min to get boxes for our food and our check. Maybe it's time to staff another lunch server...?

Last Easter in Spokane and my best pal and daughter came to visit so we went to Barrel for Easter Dinner. Steak Bites, Coconut Prawns, Huckleberry Mojitos, Best burgers ever S the 16 and 8 year old bosted...to Mushroom Ravioli and Seafood Alfrado...plus famous Mud Pie. Everything was amazing!Their food is Spokanes classiest and tasties grub.Favorites is the Halibut, Prime Rib Dip, Steak Bites, Prawns, Orzo Soup, Fish n Chips...Always great service and atmosphere on top of out of the park grub! Spokanes hidden Gem.
Had a great meal. Expensive. Tasted amazing. Scallops were not sauteed on both sides.

Great old-school "supper club" vibe! Great service, very helpful. Nice decor and quite roomy dining area. I had a pork chop-on-the-bone with potatoes and a salad that was outstanding! We really enjoyed our evening at the Barrel!

Good seafood, prime rib, and pork chop. Cooked perfectly. Salad greens were crisp and fresh. Service was excellent.
Great Food, nice people, good service. It's more of a 60-70's type bar. It seems more like a bar than a restaurant. Otherwise I would rate it 5 star.
