Way overpriced soggy sandwiches. Meh, a disappointing lunch. Grinder soggy, prices out of line with what you get.

My company always orders High Nooner for lunch trainings. What a great surprise for my first day with the credit union.!I ordered the Club Nooner, not realizing it was massive with three slices of freshly baked French bread. I should have only ordered the half sandwich. It’s definitely enough for two meals. It was well sauced which is what I love. A good quality of turkey and bacon. Because the bread is so soft, the sandwich does tend to fall apart, but it’s a delicious mess.My sandwich came with a chocolate chip cookie, which is an added bonus .I would definitely order from High Nooner again, and they deliver!

Bright and clean space with friendly and fast service. I had the whole Veggie Nooner. It was a great meal, and it's one of my favorite sandwiches from anywhere. The veggies were very fresh, and the bread was delicious. I had one of these sandwiches a year ago when passing through Spokane and couldn't wait to come back and have one again. Their sandwiches are great... did I say that already:) Parking was easy to find.Vegetarian options: There's plenty of vegetarian options.Parking: Lots of street parking close to the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Location is at street level.

Finally got a chance to try this place out. The pictures looked very good. I got the unforgettable Nooner. Made with turkey, cream cheese, mayo, bacon, sprouts, tomato, avocado on multigrain bread. It was fantastic. The balance of items on the sandwich didn’t overwhelm each other. It was perfectly made I highly recommend this place. Excellent.

The Black Critic Reviews

I spent $113 and this was the absolute rudest and worst experience during my trip to Spokane Washington. In 29 years, I have never been yelled at by restaurant staff then projected onto like Abby and the bald guy in the back of my picture. My client really wanted to eat here so we ordered over the phone 2 hours earlier. When it was time to pay, my client handed me the phone. I explained to Abigale that this would be a company expense so I needed the itemized receipt before I flew out. I asked for this because, generally, when I call and ask for it later, restaurant systems can’t pull the receipt back up or forget. She said she would send it, cursed at me because my email was long. 2 hours later, no receipt. I stopped back by my clients office for the receipt. He only had the one I tipped her using but gave me the store number to call. I was around the corner so I called to let her know I would be stopping by to pick it up if that was easier. She proceeded to cut me off and yell at me that she was busy making sandwiches. I tried to explain I could stop by and wait but she hung up in my face. When I arrived, the young lady at the front took my name and told her I was here. From the kitchen, Abby yelled at me again in front of all her guests saying she was slammed and it would be a minute asking do I really need it now. Before I could explain that the note that she wrote down my order would work just fine, the bald guy with glasses came around putting his hands up and yelled at me after Abby did. I asked him to please calm down and there was no need to yell at me. He then walked off saying he didn’t have time for this and went to making sandwiches. This was so embarrassing because I was calm, reserved, and patient already. When I saw Abby walking by, I tried to again explain that this was an uncomfortable experience, I was about to go to the airport and the note card she used to take my order should work for my expense report. She said I was the rudest person she has ever met and she would “stop what she was doing and do it now so I could get out”. What a horrible way to treat a guest. Horrible nasty staff members. I can’t imagine how they treat their subordinates. I would never visit this establishment again. Nasty peopleParking: In front and on the side of this establishment

I love this sammich shop!!!! They are always so nice to me and I love being recommended new things on the menu by Jim and Abby. All of the staff are so nice and welcoming. If you got a bit of cash and want to sit downtown for a sec, it’s perfect ?✨

After a week of road tripping, we were desperate for something easier than deep-fried-whatevers... and High Nooner delivered! I had the Unforgettable Nooner and loved every bite. Staff were helpful in their recommendations and provided quick, friendly service. Tables are clean, plenty of seating... almost makes me wish I lived in town. Almost ;)Highly recommended High Nooner!

I’m from out of town and was referred to the High Nooner by multiple people, and boy howdy did it not disappoint. Service was spot on, everyone was so friendly, and they made me one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. I will be definitely going back!

In Spokane for business and stopped into High Nooner for lunch. I have to say the Grinder sandwich reminded me of home on the east coast. Delicious sandwich and they don’t skimp on the meats. Even better was the service. Owners are so nice and personable. If you are in Spokane you must go.
