If you're looking for air miles dinin, gIt is not Waddells anymore. It's 5 north brewery, we went there for air miles but stayed because we didn't feel like driving anywhere else. Good beer and good food.

ALWAYS great food and friendly service...and the BEER selection? YUM!

First off, the brewery puts out solid brews and the Rube Waddell burger has been my go-to for many years. Service is ok but inconsistent. There's alot to enjoy here.

Love the Reuben sandwich and sweet potato fries is to die for. I'm not a beer person but I tried the blondie and pretty good too. I would definitely come back. I suggest to call and check out the happy hour beer price, it's pretty cheap.

Had very nice, efficient server, good draft selection (great price on draft beers)! But the reason I'm giving it a 2, is the food was pretty sad. My sandwich was a Texas bbq, it was tough & fatty. Temperature was hot, but fries were just luke warm (all of us who had fries were just warm). Fish & Chips came with no "chips" which we didn't understand, it comes with a choice of sides, which wasn't explained or stated on the menu..so thought you got chips & a side. Maybe would give it another try once the whole Covid19 is over.

We came here for our first sit down meal. They are following the 50% capacity rule and are properly socially distance. The fish and chips were so crispy and fluffy. Dani was our server she was wonderful- very informative, charismatic, and attentive.

Now called 5 North Brewing, we were checking out this part of Spokane for the first time and wanted to check out the nearest brewery and grab some grub. Can I rate their beer and food separately? The cliff notes: 4-star on beers, 2-star on food. Why? Honestly I was expecting the food here to be the star and beer to be mediocre to solid, but it ended up being flipped. Beer was surprisingly very good. The Pilsner was solid and true to style with no off flavors. Our favorite was the Highlander Scottish Ale, which nailed the style perfectly with its malty profile. The Timber Beast Stout was a nice roasty stout, while the Lazy Lab Pale Ale was a great hazy pale that was full-bodied and not thin like some hazy pales can be. The Peanut Brittle Porter was very nutty and not sweet, which was nice. The only one we didn't like was the Bramble Berry Sour, which tasted like a rushed kettle sour, perhaps a little too outside of their wheelhouse. But aside from that, I would certainly order a pint of any of the other beers. For food, we split a "large" fish and chips, being told the fish was good size and we could always order extra pieces. We chose onion rings as the side and added a side of "gourmet" veggies. The onion rings were the only good thing, nice and crispy outside and tender inside. Sidebar, these are $2 extra, which after checking their website, is not noted on the menu. The "large" fish and chips came with 3 pieces that were that long/narrow tube like cuts of cod - not much food at all, especially for $16.95. Certainly not enough to split. And the batter was far too thick and chewy, with little flavor. Speaking of no flavor, there was nothing "gourmet" about the veggies. Obviously a frozen veggie melody thrown in the steamer rather than fresh and sauteed like the menu suggested, as they were water logged and flavorless. Extremely sad, especially at their $6.45 price. Wasn't worth more than $2 (or anything really). Thankfully loads of salt, pepper, and a season salt on the table made this edible, but barely. Space is huge and well accented with a family/sports bar feel. Service was very nice, attentive, and fast. Despite the extremely underwhelming fish and chips, we'd come back to try a burger, which seems to be their specialty. Will definitely be back for the beer if we're near. But the food we had needs a serious price evaluation and some very simple improvements to make it worth your money.

We went in for lunch today. As we were seated in a booth the waitress was shouting at the table behind us and "jokingly" said she was adding $20 to their tab for kids standing on the seats. She was so loud I was cringing that whatever the kids were doing, SHE was the one attracting attention. She was so rude to us as a waitress that we were uncomfortable asking questions about the menu. We and our friends all felt she was truly angry. How can a restaurant allow waitstaff like this to work here? It was an all around bad experience. Food was pretty good but wouldn't go back based on the above comments.

Been here a handful of times, the diversity for burgers is great, however the taste is very acquired to each person. I personally did not like the taste of a couple burgers, but give me a basket of those sweet potato fries and I will eat them all day

The chicken fried steak sandwich was to die for. If I could I would come back here everyday. Service was a little slow at first however the dinner rush was just hitting. Thank you for the amazing good and tasty IPA's.

Service was really good this morning. My wife liked the Caprese Omelet while I have the Corned Beef Hash. Both were delicious. The wait staff kept our water and coffee topped off as well.
