The owner Catherine is very confrontational and rude . She approached me yelling get out of here NO DOGS ALLOWED! After i explained what services my dog is trained to perform she was still disgruntled . All while her small dog is standing on the bar getting pet by guests . She said she gets health code infractions all the time for her dog . Super weird vibe! Was just looking to have a beer not get attacked

The Tap Room is a warm, welcoming pub in the heart of beautiful downtown Steilacoom. It features microbrews and an atmosphere that is conducive to small group gatherings like a book club meeting, Scrabble night with friends, potlucks with your neighbors, etc. Nona is very accommodating and occasionally opens her lovely pub for private parties. It's a small space (maximum of 50) but then "Great things come in small packages!"

We absolutely love this place! The owner Ilona is simply a great person and makes everyone feel so welcome! It is definitely a locals favorite while at the same time the locals are all very welcoming. Yesterday was a particularly busy day and we were so impressed with how efficiently Ilona handled such a big crowd, everyone was so well taken care of and having a great time. This place just always feels so comfortable to us. People playing games and cards, just relaxing and telling stories. Love everything about this place and the beer selection is always fantastic! Nona is amazing and so is the service. We found this gem a couple days ago and just had to come back for the 4th of July celebrations. What a beautiful town! Just beer, wine and wine slushees (AMAZING!!) She does have snacks for purchase and let's people bring their own food. So happy we found her and her Biergarten! And be sure to say hello to Charlotte, her beloved pooch ?

Oh my goodness, if a fun loving community oriented Cheers vibe is what you desire, this is the place! Nona the owner is the sweetest ( and just wait until you meet her beloved Charlotte!) charming & inviting us an understatement. Just stop in and see for yourself! Promise you’ll be back. ???

This place is very warm and inviting with its wood tones and friendly Steilacoom faces. It only serves drinks, but does allow for food to be brought in from other places. This is not a kid friendly joint as you have to be 21+. The hours are only a few days a week but are pretty consistent. Recently they have joined forces with a local pizza man who cooks pizza in his mobile oven right outside. They also have game nights with tournaments for games such as cribbage. If you are looking to have a nice evening with a good drink and possibly meet a new friend, come to the taproom. Watch out for a guy named Andy- you will know him when you see him!
