I have enjoyed Blazing Onion when I have eaten there (maybe 3 times now). They do a great job cooking the food. The menu has plenty to choose from. This last time I tried the chicken Caesar wrap. The ingredients were fresh, and the chicken was cooked perfectly, though I was a little disappointed at how little Caesar dressing/sauce was on it. So yes, it was a little dry. Not enough for me to complain about, I mean it was a good sandwich. Also they use a seasoning on the fries, but again, they lacked in that department so the fries were more simply potato tasting, with a hint of the seasoning from time to time.The service was good. The place is clean and I liked the big screen TV's with various sports on display. I would recommend going there to eat.

Wish I would have tried this place sooner!!! Only thing to say is excellent all the way around!! Had fish and I subbed onion petals for fries with the siracha aeoli!! My son's had hickory burger it was bigger than his face!! Lol needless to say portions are very good you don't find that very often anymore and to ad the quality of food too!! My family was very happy thank you!

I've been here before and it was good food. Sadly, Recently tried to go in the other day and now they don't let you order food at your seat, and request you order everything at the door before you go in? Yet if you go to the lounge your good to go in as normal. Little sense was made, I don't know who made that call in management but that's laughable. I won't be going back if they are going to keep this going. Return back to normal like other restraunts. Wasting my time and treating people like fast food. I'm good off that. If this is a "restraunt" then act like it.

I went here for the first time back in August and it was great! Our server, Martha, was amazing. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made some really good food and drink recommendations. I loved the atmosphere and the display of the mini football helmets of every NFL team ?. If I didn’t had to travel after my visit, I probably would have spent the next few weeks here watching college and pro football! I plan to be a frequent patron here for the entire football season, and most likely basketball too!Parking: The parking is closer than expected since the restaurant is part of the mall.
I ordered the most simplest order grilled cheese and water. I didn't get my water until my order came out and I had to go get it myself. Then you order and pay before you are seated in the main dining area why to get treated the way I was in the bar. The service was so fantastic when it first opened now this place has the the most disrespectful garbage service ever I hope it's other locations are doing good because this Tacoma location deserves to be shut down.

It was my first time coming here. You can order at the door or at the table. We chose to go to the bar. The staff was friendly and had helpful suggestions. I started with the onion petals, which were very good with the sriracha aoli dipping sauce (got ranch for the wife). My wife chose the Angus Dipper with a side of onion petals and a raspberry lemonade. She enjoyed it very much. I opted for the Bacon Blues with fries and a blueberry lime splash. Great meal. Had an awesome time. I'm planning to go again.

They only let you eat in the bar, otherwise you order and pay at the counter, then can go get a table in the very small dining area that has no servers, all self serve in this area. This business should be classified as a bar not a restaurant..it's not my type of place to eat.

Fantastic! At Blazing Onion Burgers in Tacoma, we enjoyed a wonderful meal. The burgers at Blazing, my first visit there, blew me away. Don't forget the fries, either. The parmesan garlic fries were delicious, but the garlic flavor was intense. I highly recommend the Blueberry Lime Splash. We waited around 20 minutes to be served; the restaurant was full, but I suspect a lack of workers was also to blame. However, the service was excellent, and the personnel was quite kind. The restaurant's urinals even have TVs mounted above them. That is something completely new to me. Great spot to catch a game and chow down on some tasty fare. The Tacoma Mall's proximity wasn't horrible, but I could see how parking might be an issue on busy days. I'd highly suggest this place to others, and I definitely want to return.

Came here with my partner, we arrived and the place was pretty much empty so, we figured we would get our food quickly. We were wrong. We ordered a burger and a chicken sandwich and then sat there for over an hour and when we asked for our check for the items we did receive, they told us it was super busy when in fact, it wasn't. Because of this, we missed out on the circus that was happening that we paid good money for because I guess it takes over an hour to make a burger and a chicken sandwich. Will never be returning to this restaurant. First and last time
Think Red Robin that's elevated and more adult-oriented experience and you have the Blazing Onion Burger Co. Flavorful wraps and burgers, cooked perfectly. Great service and decent drinks and good price. We weren't there during happy hour but recommend going back then. Worth a visit after work!

Somewhat speechless. Went here with my girlfriend yesterday afternoon and the staff were super nice! We started off with some drinks and for apps we got the onion petals which were DELICIOUS. Now… the burgers… the Star of the show… the burger. I got the Mushroom Melt with spicy Cajun fries and this burger was an event. Mushrooms, Swiss cheese, onions, their house sauce and a PERFECTLY COOKED patty… as the aeons pass… the memory of this burger will be eternal. Fries were delicious too!

My review is based on service. They will not let you sit before ordering your food when you walk in. You have to stand in line to order and then sit down for them to serve you. Don't come here if you have a big family because you are not allowed to sit down and order which is very overwhelming. If I wanted to order my food while at the register I would go to Mc Donald's. This is suppose to be a restaurant, not fast food. Then they expect a tip when you order. Why would I tip and I haven't received any service. I will update my review when they update the sitting down policy they changed because of the pandemic. The pandemic is over so why can't we sit down at a table and look at the menu.

The staff there was very accommodating and attentive to our large group. We showed up on a Sunday afternoon as a group of 40 starving post-baseball tournament families. They didn’t bat an eye. Showed us were we would fit in and got to work helping us! Food was good and we left full and happy.

We, a basball team that had just finished a tournament, showed up with no previous communication and they accommodated us. They were staffed for a Sunday mid- afternoon not for a party of 30 with which we approached. The staff did a great job with accommodating us with incredible service.
