I've ordered from this place three times. Every time, she's taken my money. I walk/drive over after waiting the time the confirmation email and text and I get. And she's CLOSED. Three times this has happened. I really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt but I'm not going to create an instagram to check a business' hours. Update your website, update your search services. Stop taking my money when you're closed and making me waste my time having to email and dm you on different services to get a refund. Just absurd that this has happened three separate times. Unprofessional.

This is one of the cutest coffee shops I have ever seen!!!The customer service skills were amazing. The owner of the shop is extremely patient, kind and welcoming. I ordered 3 drinks at an amazing price. I will definitely be coming back. Everything about Luv-a-Latte Espresso is outstanding.

I have been following this awesome black woman owned coffee shop on Instagram (luv.a.latte.espresso) for some time now, and drive by when I'm in that neighborhood to see if we can pop in. This morning we are able to finally make it there, and I feel the need to review on Yelp because somehow this spot has gone unnoticed so far! They had a grand re-opening January 2023 (formerly hilltop coffee bar) and you all should stop in.. My daughter had a hot cocoa & a chocolate muffin, and I had The Pynk white coffee drink which was such a treat, it tastes like captain crunch cereal!! and I had an everything bagel breakfast sandwich, made to order. Yum. The shop is adorable, with tons of eye candy, fun drink specials, cute cookies and more. Also, I used my card and it was run before I remembered to order my daughter's muffin, and she gifted it, no charge. I know we'll be back to take care of it, but I thought that was super sweet of her to give it to us.. Can't wait to try more treats.. across from Bates Technical College, downtown Tacoma location. On the corner. Free street parking.

So glad we swung in! Nothing beats pulling up to a stand and being greeted by some one who is so happy and genuinely loves being where they are. The coffee we got was so refreshing, not burnt like GC or Starbucks (seriously, why do people enjoy burning stomachs). We had an overall amazing experience, from start to finish. We will definitely come back with the kids. Thank you for amazing coffee break moment.
