The service at this restaurant is great and everything most of the reviewers here say it is. It is a small restaurant run by a very kind lady. She was very attentive to my needs, even making sure to bring me a glass of water while I waited for my to-go order. The food was cooked quickly and tasted great. The dining area, though small, was clean and full of natural light. I noticed there was a high chair available at the far side of the dining room. I look forward to coming here again!Kid-friendliness: I noticed there was a high chair available in the seating area.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp up to the front door of the restaurant.

If I could give this place a lower score I would, I'm going to start with the red curry it had good flavor but the chicken tasted canned and bland small rice portion and curry was watery, the green curry wasn't any better worse in fact mushy, vegetables were raw eggplant was bitter and not cooked, chicken was bland and tasted canned again, finally and worst of all was the pad Thai this was one of the worst dishes of my life noodles were half cooked suace was too sweet and eggy like a sulfur taste I wouldn't be so harsh in my review but low effort and low quality food gets to me especially at this price for 3 dishes I'd take my money elsewhere if I could get a refund I would never coming here again I'll be making my friends and family aware of this place and anyone who ask for a place to eat this place needs to get better at what it does. All I can say is good luck to whoever owns this place cuz the food ain't gonna do it.

Small, pink interior with tables, not a lot of space but perfect for the sweet woman who seemed to be doing it all. She took our order, gave us water and went to the kitchen to cook, served us when the food was ready all the while taking to go orders. Luckily we came in when it wasn't busy and she was wonderful. I enjoyed Tom kha with tofu (flavorful rich broth with firm yet delicate tofu) and the pork pad kee mao. The spice level medium was more on the conservative side so we added more spice which gave it a nice kick. The picture included with my review is the jungle which wasn't as green as I thought it would be but it came with a decent amount of protein and the curry sauce was nice although it was a bit on the oily side for my personal taste. Really close to the mall by the way and has a free private parking lot.

So far, the best Thai food I've had in Tacoma. The lady who runs it is super sweet. When we were there, she was cooking & serving, & impressively so.Great food, great service, reasonable prices. Highly recommend & will go back. ❤️

Ordered the pad ke mao and chicken wings to go.The noodles were well seasoned and perfectly cooked, not soggy and disintegrated into tiny pieces lolChicken wings spot on-super flavorful, tender and juicy. Fast, friendly service and good prices. Definitely recommend!

First time here. GPS took me here but got lost a little because there is no sign outside. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the owner I assume. She was very very friendly and welcoming. They have a great looking menu. I got cashew chicken lunch special and spring rolls. Super tasty. I like the portion sizes and the prices are affordable.

The lady working is very sweet. She almost got hit by our car while stopping us to make sure we didn’t leave without a sauce.

After reading many reviews of local thai restaurants I ultimately decided to go to this one.I had the red curry and it tasted good. The flavor was on point, the spice was at the right level, and it felt comforting on a cold rainy night.Parking: It was a little difficult to pull into the location since it’s near several major intersections and cars are moving quickly (as to not run a red light). I had to drive around the block twice to get the right timing to safely enter the parking lot. Also, parking was very limited.

We stopped here on a whim after reading the good Google reviews...and it was amazing!! I ordered the Pad See Ew and my mom had the Pad Thai... both were so fresh and flavorful! We were surprised that the owner cooked everything herself back in the kitchen...she was sooo sweet, too! If you are looking for a fantastic little hidden gem for Thai food... look no further than Chaya Thai!
