Finally got to try this place. Had breakfast and the food was delicious! Nashville hot chicken with a bacon waffle and bourbon syrup. Every bit as good as it sounds! Good service, nice ambience. Saw lots more that looked amazing on the menu. Will definitely be back.

Service was great, it’s a pretty basic tavern setup nothing special. The food was horrendous though. I got the chicken fried chicken breast sandwich spicy. Had no flavor meat was totally unseasoned. They drenched the entire sandwich in what was supposed to be two kinds of sauce but it was pure flavorless grease. All I could taste was the inside of the uncleaned fryer with a tiny bit of spice after I mean I couldn’t even tell there was tomato or lettuce in the sandwich I seriously could only taste grease. I nearly vomited.Parking: There is basically no parking and most of the streets nearby are full even during the work day or marked as no parking.

The management here is not forgiving of simple mistakes. I cooked for over 12 years and have never heard of such treatment.I will never eat at this restaurant again.

I just stumbled upon this place while exploring Tacoma and I'm glad I did. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. They were busy but quick. Parking was tight, it's great if you live in the area. I recommend this place and will be back again.

We visited for the first time recently and had delicious food. Current theme is Mississippi delta. They rotate the menu - and even switch out the art to match the theme. The pork tenderloin was delicious. They also offer a $19 wine bottle where the waiter chooses from the previous menu and we had great luck! The toddlers at the table enjoyed the mac n cheese and kid fried chicken dish so two more pairs of thumbs up.Kid-friendliness: Great options for kids

Great menu, food, in my opinion, was just ok. Didn't really hit the taste palate that I was expecting. Will try again to see if it was an off day.

Food and service were excellent ? Tessa (pretty sure that was her name, sorry if I got it wrong!) was an awesome server, she took an extra moment to put in the order for my friend’s young son while the rest of us were still deciding so that he got his food quickly, and she also recommended some amazing drink options and was super friendly and efficient throughout! Food was awesome, we had some modifications that were all taken care of and everything at the table was delicious. Highly recommend this place!Vegetarian options: My friend is vegetarian and it’s hard to find places with savory veg brunch items, this place had awesome options!

From our server, to our delicious lunch to our packaged left-overs, this is a special, special place. It's not huge so treat yourself either side of the noon hour, for sure. Also, parking is not simple so be sure to carry an umbrella. ALL worth every morsel!

My wife and I had heard about how good this place was so we decided to go for dinner. Definitely worth it. The food was excellent. I had the lamb burger with creole fries and my wife had the chicken Caesar salad. We kept talking about how well everything was seasoned and how great everything tasted. We'll be going back often, next time for breakfast.

I was so impressed by this little restaurant in North Tacoma. Firstly, the atmosphere is very cute, it's quaint and has so much character. And the food, WOW, it was so good! We went for a late breakfast and really enjoyed ourselves! The service was friendly and quick, I definitely recommend giving this spot a try if you haven't already. I'm excited to go back for lunch!

The chicken and waffles are sooo good! The chicken is crispy and the syrup is amazing. I recommend getting cheese on the scrambled eggs!
