My husband and I got married here Jan 2024 and I have nothing but great things to say about the space, beer and staff. Be prepared if you decide to get married here, you are responsible for the entire set up and clean up. With that being said, there is SO much flexibility in how you want to decorate the space. In addition, the staff are very kind and excellent in the communication process making everything smooth and easy. We had a very intimate small ceremony, about 15 people, then a larger reception with about 80 people. The brewery size was perfect for the amount of people we had. We had a catering company come in to set up food which was plenty of space as well. Later in the night, we played our own music through the brewery’s speakers which we were impressed by the sound system. There is also a mic available so people could share speeches. If we could do anything differently, we would have a company come in and take things down after us because at the end of the night, we were toasted. Highly recommend getting married here if you are looking for a chill, cozy and beer filled wedding!

Beer is quite good. Had the pale ale and the lager. Both tasted like what I thought they would. No extra fluff in the beers. Space is very industrial and chill. No food on site but you can bring your own, very cool. Bartenders are knowledgeable and will let you try what you want. You can rent out the space for private events. In the heart of downtown and close to all kinds of nightlife. Do yourself a favor and grab a beer here.

Great place for a private party! Lovely space with flexible set up, a projector and screen, lots of room for things like DJs, dancing, decorations, and a photo booth. You can bring your own food and non-alcohol beverages. We had access to a private room for our stuff and to change clothes. Staff was amazing. Dogs are allowed. And there was plenty of available, nearby parking on a Sunday afternoon.

Ok so iv been there 3 times where i actually sat n had a great hef....BUT Iv also been there 3 times where i was refused service due to a private party going on....But you wont sell me to go. Seriously...YOUR FORGETTING THE PEOPLE THAT FILL YOUR PLACE WHEN YOU DONT HAVE PARTIES GOIN ON....US.!..So twice iv called n recieved a recording saying were busy n will call you back....NO call back..I drive from Des Moines just to go to your brewery.. No more im done with this brewery....

Large open seating area and lots of tables! Limited ciders (1 option) but there was plenty of beer variety. Service was decent but honestly we were there for a celebration so other than ordering drinks at the counter, we didn't require much.

This place is fun, but it seems like it’s more of an event space than a functioning bar at this point. Stopped by today for a beer, and was disappointed to see that they were hosting a private event. This is probably the 5th time this has happened in the last 2-3 years, which is pretty frustrating, particularly because I attempted to call ahead, and no one picked up the phone. The beer’s hood when you can actually get in there and drink it. Maybe they should add an event calendar to their website.

I really wanted to love this place. Visited for an event for 30 people. I rented space for 2 hours and when booking was told we would be welcome to stay longer as they were open to the public. However, after a little over an hour they started demanding we clean up close our tabs as they were closing for a wedding. They were running around slamming chairs and being incredibly rude. All and all they had us all out the door with time to spare before their next event.
We came with a big group on a Thursday evening. The bar is massive with plenty of table and couch seating. The ambiance is cozy and inviting. They only serve beer (there were several to choose from) and canned wine! No food either! 3 stars only because I feel some bottles of wine would bee welcome addition to their fare.They had half of the cordoned off for a private party and it looked like a good place to have one!

Four friends and I visited the Dystopian Staye Brewery this Saturday night and had a great time. This is a simple brewery that serves great brews and is a very inclusive environment. I appreciate that they are ADA accessible, are pet and kid friendly, and allow you to bring your own food. There is an assortment of games available and is overall a chill atmosphere. I recommend the Mario berry cider. The lager and the number 11 stout are also recommended. Great service great atmosphere, would be the perfect location for a wedding as they rent their space.

Moved here to Tacoma from fairbanks Alaska, where there are tons of distilleries and breweries. This one is my favorite in the area by far! Good space, great seating, love the drink selection. And I adore all the board games they have. It's a perfect space for events, I've been to about three and every time it was great.

I didn't actually get to go here... I wanted to - but you were closed on Monday and Tuesday :( dystopia should consider expanding their hours of operation. I sat next to the brother of an owner here while sitting at the bar at the fish peddler - probably the most attractive man I've ever met in my life therefore this brewery gets 5 stars lol

Love this place! We had a get together last night, and they were very accommodating. Shi did an amazing job taking care of everyone despite being the only bartender on a very busy night. She was helpful and maintained excellent customer service throughout the rush.
