They are permanently closed. Very sad they have closed up their shop. We used to come here for their delicious desserts, baked goods & tortas. Hopefully, they will find a new spot to open.

The tortas are great, but the bakery is hit or miss-- they have conchas in the pictures but not in the bakery anymore. It's all tasty though!

Three reasons for the one star review. First, whenever I go to buy Mexican bread, they never have conchas (of any flavor). I've tried at different times of the day, and different days. Conchas are a Mexican bread basic. Secondly, I've been when it's very busy and also when there is no other customers but myself, always bad service. I've asked questions about the menu items and the person didn't know what it was. I also have been there waiting for 10 mins with nobody else in there but me. When I finally got to order, I sat down and other people walked in. I timed their wait (7 mins). So I knew it wasn't just me. They almost walked out as I almost did I but trying to support a local business I stayed. Lastly, when I got my order I couldn't eat it. It was not what I ordered and full of fat. The person I went with didn't eat her food either due to the fat chucks in her sandwich. I won't be going back nor would I suggest it to anyone.

Tried this place two times for their baked goods/pastries, first time wasn't 100% fresh but edible, I didn't finish everything, the second time the small cookies from up front were good, but the larger cookie with strawberry jam was inedible, tasted like it sat too long and took on an off flavor, and the filled pastry I bought was actually rancid, I spit out the first bite immediately and was dry heaving for a bit. Not satisfied with how this business chooses to check quality.

Torta Cubana gets a 5 ⭐️Tacos de buche get a 5 ⭐️This place definitely surprised me. The food tastes like it should.And they have their own panadería? (Bakery) ?

The tortas here are AMAZING and giant! They also come with a side of homemade potato chips. They also have a bakery with so many items. I've yet to try any except the tres leches cake, but I'll be back for more!

Love this spot! We usually go for the tortas, which are amazing and really have that "chilango" touch/taste. But every now and then we go for the menudo, or simply to go get some bolillos or pan dulce. The owners are super amazing, always on top of their service. They don't always have menudo, so if that's what you are looking for give them a call. And now for the review of the star of the show... the barbacoa!! *drooling* you won't find another place with real authentic barbacoa estilo hidalgo! The consomé is always super delicious, and the way they prepare the meat is one of a kind.

My second time visiting today, and the tacos are so good! I changed from 5 to 4 stars because I noticed today they single layer the tortillas for their tacos. Maybe I'm just a carb head but I prefer a double tortilla taco. I ordered 8 tacos and paid $25 ($30 with tip). A little pricey, but the food is good, the people are nice, and it has a good environment. You can order Spanish or English. Will keep visiting ?

I went there to eat, but there was no place to park. Drove around the block, still nothing. Ended up going somewhere else. Really bad area, felt unsafe.
