Had a great time at Jazzbones, love the intimate setting for a concert and great staff.

I haven't been to this location for years. But decided to go to see a band that I love. We decided to eat before we came just because I thought it might be a little bit busy as they opened at seven p m and the music starts at eight. That said, the kitchen would be very busy early on, and it might take a long time to get any grub. So this is not a review on the food but the venue itself. There is a lot of great seating, with several levels and floors, and most have a pretty decent view of the stage. There's a very large dance floor and a bar up and downstairs, which makes it very convenient. We ordered a full bottle of wine and could cork it and take it home after the show. This just stopped too many lineups at the bar. We sat upstairs and in the highest section with great seating and view. The sound was not the best, At first, I thought it was the band that opened thinking that they might not have the best sound, but the main headliner also sounded kind of terrible. I'm not sure if the venue does the sound or if the act bring their own sound people but it must be a tough place to get the sound right because it was not anything to write home about. We still enjoyed the show. Got a little dancing in and have a great time.

I saw a performance last night with Non Jovi, and they were very good, however there wasn't enough places to sit so we had to stand the four hours thru the show. No parking either. I bought my tickets online three weeks ago so maybe they should have enough tables for the tickets they sell.

Saw Coco Montoya here this month with the Joel Astley Band opening the show. This was our first time here and we got in line at 7 pm when the doors opened. There was quite a crowd in front of us but once we got inside a nice lady we met in line led us right upstairs and we got great chairs in the front row of the balcony. The place did seem close to capacity but never too crowded. The dance floor was busy all night but we had maybe the best seats in the house to take it all in. Both bands were excellent and the crowd was appreciative. For us, the bonus this evening was how well behaved and and respectful everyone was during the evening. It may have been the higher then average age but our experience this night at Jazzbones was perfect.

Bought my general admission tickets online 2 months ahead. General admission was the only option offered. Drove 2 hours, got there an hour early, and the whole ground floor was "reserved." They told everyone to take the upstairs "seats", including an elderly woman who was using a walker. Upstairs "seats" include a wooden plank attached to the wall (see pic). Will not be coming here again.

Very cool venue for live music. The owner, Rachel is an amazing person too!

Your security guard is the rudest. He has anger issues. I’m never coming back here! He treated us awful and took and dumped the drinks we had just bought. He kicked us out because they were closing when there were still people inside. He said the place closed at 12 am and Google clearly says 1 am. It was 12.15 am. Besides why would they sell us drinks if they were about to close? He cussed us out and was very violent. The idea of a karaoke band is amazing but when you go and sing on stage, you cannot hear yourself, so you have no idea if you are being heard by others or if you are singing well or nothing. Bar tender and the girl in charge of karaoke were ok. The guy checking IDs (maybe security guy or bouncer) though, who is just an old guy with long hair, had anger issues and I really felt threaten when he was yelling and cussing us out. He wouldn’t listen any of what we had to say and didn’t care. This happened last Wednesday 2/7/24.
