I have come here many times and enjoyed the food even though I find the pho overpriced compared to other spots in town. My neighbor and I were out and realized it was happy hour at this spot and wanted to grab some food on the way home. We showed up and asked about happy hour. The bartender was irritated we asked and responded with a snarky comment. I was belittled about my follow up question and we were treated with disdain for the rest of our dining experience. If I hadn’t been so hungry I would have gotten up and left. I am so disappointed that this spot can hire a bartender like that and will think twice before I come back again, as well as let me friends know about my experience. We all live walking distance off 6th avenue, so come on La Ca Bar we can do better than this.

My favorite vietnamese spot in tacoma hands down. Good veggie menu. My favs are the veggie pho, tofu spring rolls, and tofu banh mi.

If I could give this place more stars I would, my only complaint is that this isn’t closer to where we live! We were looking for a place to eat that was open late and thankfully we ended up here! The service was some of the best we’ve ever received. Such kind and genuine people, he gave us suggestions on what to do, where to go and just made us feel like family. After such great service I would have enjoyed my experience even if the food would have been average but to our surprise every single item we tried was like wow! We will most definitely come back here anytime we are traveling through.

I went there for the first time last night and got the beef banh mi…. Hands down the best I’ve ever had. I’m getting it again for dinner tonight and will definitely be a regular going forward. My wife had the beef pho and said it was great. Thanks for a great experience!

Overall great experience! Food was the closest I have had to food in Vietnam. Ordered the chicken vermicelli, dumplings, and pork Bahn Mi. Each serving was awesome! My partner especially enjoyed the cracked open coconut and coffee.Vegetarian options: Nearly everything they have on the menu can be vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Willingness to adjust food to accommodate restrictions and menu is simple to understand. Plus has vegetarian options!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to enter and not a far walk.

i've been here handful times over the years, but my two most recent experiences at this establishment haven't been the best. the customer service from the bartender is a hit and miss. The food quality doesn't seem to be consistent as well. I came here with a group of friends and the group told me they would never come back. I felt super bummed as I recommended this place for us to go to that night.

Been here several times and had good food. Yesterday did take out and discovered a hair in my sandwich. Ugh, lunch ruined.

Not your average Vietnamese restaurant - in a good way! I sought this place out one evening when I was traveling, starving, and desperate because most restaurants were closed. Vietnamese sounded good. Upon arrival, I was astounded when I saw the prices, as I'm used to a certain price range in Vietnamese. But, once I saw the menu, I realized it's not your average Vietnamese restaurant - for example, Kim Chee (Korean) in Vietnamese food?? It's a fusion kind of place. So then I thought, ok, I'm willing to make a price exception for something unique. I ordered # 26. Cơm Gà Tuy Hòa. It was a lot of food, which made the price more worth it. EVEN BETTER, it tasted SOOOOO GOOOOD ! The chicken was flavored so nicely and practically falling off the bone. I loved the broth rice. And with the combination of pickled papaya carrots, cucumber and herbs, it was very pleasing to my tastebuds! I didn't have a cocktail, but they sounded good. I really hope to return to this place one day!
