I worked out of here a couple of weeks ago - coffee was good and both baristas were friendly. Dog is adorable but a bit drooly ? I wish they had more than just sweets for food, I was hoping for a pastry but had to get a cupcake instead for something to eat. Place is a little rougher around the edges, the bathroom could use a good declutter, organization, and clean. Chairs were uncomfortable for a full day of sitting to work, but would be fine for a chat with friends. All things considered, I will be back if I'm in the neighborhood.

Stumbled upon this neighborhood coffee shop while on a drive to Olympic Mountains and it was good. Lots of place to study/remote work, parking is simple too.We bought 2 Caramel Lattes and grabbed the Granola bar. Both were good.

This is one of the most authentically Tacoma businesses. Always a friendly neighborhood place to stop for a great coffee and pastry. This place offers something for both the coffee snob, who likes their beans single origin/small batch/locally roasted and straight up, and for the person who seeks a flavored mixed coffee drink in a variety of unique flavors. The coffee they serve is roasted locally by Manifesto, just a few minutes away. The pastries are from Spilled Butter Desserts, another great Tacoma business. My go to order is the White Chocolate Mocha Lavender, iced with a berry tart: it's always the best way to start my day!

I am convinced Washington state is the Cafe capital of the world. Sorry Paris, step aside. This one is for the USA! We were on our way to the mountains when we made a stop at Lux Coffee for a quick pick me up. The decor/design was so inviting, we just had to go in. The menu is typical for a quick coffee fix, but the pastries are the star of this show. We got the raspberry cheesecake and devoured it within minutes. It's not everyday that you can find desserts in the USA that don't give you diabetes from all the extra added sugar. The coffees were alright. We had the cappuccino and macchiato. Service was great! The barista was friendly, quick and efficient. By the time we got in, a queue started to form, but the barista was quick to get the drinks out. Highly recommend! Till next time.

The Barista was very friendly and service was quick and attentive. The environment was also comfortable and quiet and was a great place to sit and relax.However, we came here for coffee, and unfortunately on a quiet Saturday morning, the Dirty Chai Latte and Cappuccino we ordered were the worst we've had in memory. There are so many great coffee spots in Tacoma and we wanted to love this spot, but the actual drinks fell short.
I love this place! I always feel welcome and warm, and the coffee is the best I've had in a long time.
