Brioche Nutella was delicious. Unfortunately, my wife ate it too fast, that's why the picture looked weird. Really good place for kids.

Really enjoyed our Rose lattes today, and the pastries are pretty good two. Calm vibe all around with a toasty fire during a cool morning, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I recommend Mocambo!

I had a delightful experience at Mocambo Coffee & Chai! The Desi Chai Masala was simply outstanding. I also enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich which was a perfect complement. What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by Mallory. She was incredibly sweet and went out of her way to ensure my order was tailored to perfection. The cleanliness and esthetics added to the overall positive experience. There was a warm and inviting atmosphere paired with delicious food. I'll certainly be returning for more! Thank You Mallory ❤️

I was helped by Mallory and she was so friendly and welcoming. This place shouldn't have as many bad reviews as it does. They've worked hard to build back up after Covid and have done a great job. They have so many tea selections and Mallory gave some great suggestions. I love the ambiance here and will definitely be returning!

I'd go with 3.5 if it would let me do half stars. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there was only one other customer there. Ambiance was good. Well lit with garage door style windows that roll up in the summer I imagine. Was a clean environment and music was playing overhead. Fast service by a friendly barista who made really delicious chai! I had the Spicy Oatmilk Chai and husband had a Lavender Oatmilk Chai. Both were amazing! Husband's Mumba Street sandwich was full of flavor, packed with veggies (panini style). I had a subpar slice of Budapest coffee cake. Pretty sure it was made a few days ago as it was super dry. Do not recommend. We'd definitely come back and try more chai! They do sell loose leaf tea in 2oz packs and have quite a large selection.

Really great chai, much better than the ones made from syrups and concentrates that a lot of other coffee shops serve. The snacks and pastries I've tried have been pretty good, just very hit or miss on the variety and freshness.

So glad I finally checked this place out! Mumbai Street (veggie)sandwich was great, and the remodel inside is warm & cozy! But the rose chai is the biggest reason I'll be back...dang so good, and perfect for our cold gray winter days here in T Town.

Decided to check this spot out and was surprised by their wide variety of food and drink options. The barista was super friendly and kindly answered all my questions. I got the pepperoni croissant sandwich, service and food were amazing.

My wife and I went in to get a coffee, and not a single employee was to be found. We eventually found a bell, which we rung to get an employee’s attention who came from the back room. She looked very bothered to have to come out of the back room, didn’t say a word to either of us and stared at the counter the entire time. Extremely disrespectful.Go to Valhalla instead.

I stopped in here the other day to grab a coffee. I had a cinnamon latte. It was fine. Nothing spectacular, but I'm hard to impress. They have several pastries, kids beverages, and even milkshakes, but I did not get a chance to try them. It's a really nice space and pretty ideal if you want somewhere relaxing to chill, read a book, or do some work. I have been here in the past when it was Metronome. Very nice barista.

Stopped in for a rose chai latte and some pastries and was delighted by this neat little neighborhood coffee shop! There is plenty of seating and looks like a great place to study. It looks like they're kid friendly too as they have a kids menu and some more kiddo sized tables and chairs. I will be back with my little one and might try the mango Lassi next time and buy some loose leafed tea!

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Tacoma! Love the variety of seating options, friendly staff, chill music, and that they have a lot of kid-friendly drinks. Great place to study, work, or catch up with friends.
