This place is what Tacoma needed. A real Philly that'll stick to your ribs. Anyone from the East coast needs to go here. And anyone who wants to experience a real Philly sandwich should go as well.If you don't have a mess while eating, it's not a real Philly.

This hole in the wall Philly cheese steak restaurant is awesome. They pile on the meat, cheese and veggies. I got their plain fries with my sandwich and they beat out any fast food fries by far. I ordered takeout while I was down the road and it was ready within 10 minutes. The staff are funny and friendly.
Fantastic, authentic Philly cheesesteaks! Wit or witout!Staff is casual and friendly. There's signs on the walls advertising that they're on Facebook ("My Philly") and Instagram ("My Philly Tacoma").Restaurant is situated at the end of a strip mall shopping center. We had no problem with parking, but Google did say we were there when business was slower than usual. The property is clean inside and out.The seating area very much reminds me of small sandwich shops of the East Coast. All of the food was made-to-order, but service was very quick. If you want the style we (Delaware native, Philly native, and Philly area native) are more familiar with, I'd suggest the Pepper Cheesesteak hold the jalapeños. That way, you get the meat, cheese, onions, and *bell peppers*.The full sandwiches are probably the size of a footlong. The text menu (not the pics) shown in this listing are for half sandwiches.Meat was delicious thinly chopped ribeye. White American cheese was creamy but not overbearing. There was a great meat-to-bun ratio, and you're definitely not just filling up on bread. Onions were finely chopped and authentic per the Pennsylvanians at our table (as much as I want to like onions, I can't do it). And for the two who had the mushroom cheesesteaks, they said they were amazing (expect them to be juicier, from our experience). And they labeled all our food. The cheesesteak fries were amazing. They have the orange cheese sauce. I definitely recommend them!Vegetarian options: Veggie Deluxe Hoagie, Crinkle Fries
I'm from Chicago and 10 outta 10 would recommend. Great meat to bread ratio. My family shared the orginal and pepper cheesesteak. I would recommend the pepper cheesesteak for the extra bump in flavor.
Absolutely delicious! The bread is perfect. Will definitely be back.

I got the foot long chicken deluxe, and it was so good. I ate half for lunch and the other foot supper. It was supposed to be lunch the next day. We will definitely be back!
Paid $42 for 2 Philly cheese steaks. Tasted like the bread was microwaved, not a lot of cheese or onions, and the meat was dry. Not worth it. Legendary still takes it 100%

Great cheesesteak. Got there at 8:30 and they closed at 9 but all the chairs were on the tables and we got the feeling from the girl cleaning the lobby that we were not welcome to stay, so we ate in our car with two kids. Other than that, great food!
