We used to absolutely love spanky burger. We are really dissapointed that they have not opened back up for dine in. I can't see a valid reason for this. Now they are also closed on Saturdays. Unfortunately I'm afriad this will be the end for Spanky burgers. Being in such a walkable area and not being able to sit down for a meal is an issue by itself but to close on the most convenient day for people to eat out doesn't make sense.

Spankys Burger & Brew was a nightmare. The burger was an abomination, resembling a hockey puck more than anything edible. The staff appeared to be in a perpetual state of confusion, and the customer service was an exercise in frustration. The hygiene was so appalling that I questioned whether I should risk my health by eating there. Steer clear unless you have a strong desire for a tasteless disaster and a side of potential food poisoning.

Love the food at Spanky Burger! I’ve had many great experiences here and particularly love their chicken tenders and sidewinder fries. The staff can be hit or miss in terms of customer service, but the food is always delicious.

This place has good burger. I had the fireball burger with pico de gallo, jalapeños, crisp, iceberg, and spicy avocado. The burger was really good the perfect amount of spice. I also love the value on my hunt to find the best meal for under $20. It’s hard to find meals for $20 or under. I was able to get a full burger french fries and a bottle of water for under $20. So overall good value, they are quick to serve you and take care of you. I will definitely be back Amy . The owner is really nice as well. Her family works very hard.

Ordered many times before since they've been open. We been here can't count how many times. This time 2 of the 3 burgers we ordered were beyond spicy and couldn't eat. So after spending $50 bucks, I called. They young lady was unresponsive, and said there was nothing to do. That's so funny. NOT. Will never go back. At the very least should of said she'd replace my meals. Oh and I never write stuff like this.

Came to try this place for the first time, not knowing it was TAKE OUT ONLY until we saw a sign on the door. Proceeded to walk in. Wait time was 40 mins... would've been nice to know there was no dine in prior to making the decent drive over. So we could have called ahead and placed an order.
Highly suggest grabbing this to go or having it delivered.

This was the first time I’ve been able to order chicken strips and fast-food since I was diagnosed with celiac disease. It tasted amazing and the staff were super accommodating. Can’t recommend it enough, especially if you have celiac.Thank you to the folks at this place, you have no idea how much you made my day being able to have one of my favorite foods as a kid.Dietary restrictions: Gluten, peanut, and hazelnut allergy

CALL AND ORDER INSTEAD OF ORDERING ONLINE!!! They're using Doordash instead of Toast or other online ordering services so prices are inflated over actual menu prices so Doordash can take their cut.Also, ice cream and milkshake machine is down and could take "months" when I asked one of the workers.Dine-in is FINALLY "coming soon" per signs on the door. This has been a big disappointment but opening fully will be a big plus.Make no mistake, Spanky still makes my favorite (affordable, unless you order online) burger in Tacoma and their food is ALWAYS great; but, I've got to knock them due to Doordsh online ordering instead of Toast/other services, ice cream being down (likely out of their control), and still no dine-in.
