Omg!!! Where do I start with this place!We enjoyed our first time visiting this All you can eat Sushi place. The robot was so adorable The food, I mean everything that we ordered was delicious, not to mention the quality, and flavors of each dish that we ordered.I will definitely be coming back often with my friends. If you haven’t tried Sumo in Tacoma, please do so. You will as surprised as we are! Not to mention how affordable it is to dine here…Yes, I said here because I am literally writing this review as I am finishing up with my meal.
Very delicious!! Quick service. One suggestion for improvement, when you’re looking at the menu, it should tell you if an item is already in your cart or not!

Fun sushi robot dinner! First, you are seated, asked by a waitperson about your beverage order, then an explanation of downloading and then ordering from your device what to order to eat. There's a limit of how much you can order at once, and after ordering, you must wait 15 minutes before you can order again. In the meantime, usually you will receive, by robot, your food order. (Sometimes the food is delivered by a waitperson).We were notified that our time limit was up (we had been there for 2 hrs) we were not aware that there was a time limit... this was not on the website or mentioned when we were seated. They mentioned that the limit was actually 90 minutes and they had given us extra time. All of this info was given to us respectfully, and I explained that this is not mentioned on the website, so hopefully in the future patrons can be aware. We will be coming back for the great sushi, salad bar, and service!

The wait was about 30 to 45 minutes. But once I got seated, the food came very quickly. You're food is ordered through a tablet on the table.You have a specific amount of orders that you can place at once. And a time limit at the table .I was able to eat enough to be really full before my timer ran out. I am pretty sure I still had a lot of time I could have sat there and eaten more. The service was ok. Hard to get the servers attention.

Easily the worst sushi I’ve ever had. Pretty confident that the spicy crab was well past its expiration date, it tasted very rancid. Most of the women working there were pretty unpleasant but our server was so kind and gave us great service.Overall, I would take Fred Meyers or Safeway sushi over this. Disgusting.I’d also like to mention this place is not high chair kiddo friendly. Husband and I tried to go a month or two ago for dinner and we were told they didn’t have any high chairs available. Come to find out the restaurant only has 3 to begin with. Never been to a place where they ran out of high chairs.I was also thrown off by their horrible health inspection rating posted on their door.

Nice place to eat. Staff are nice and friendly along with good service. 1st time was good but the 2nd time I came my food was forgotten and I had to ask staff 3x where my order was at the 3 x I had ordered at separate times.
Good food. Probably the best sashimi. in seattle cause there’s not that many options. Good to try and will come back.Wish the sashimi quality will be better and have scallops.
