We actually eat here about once every other week. We usually get the burritos, and they are delicious. The taco salad shell was not my favorite but we have never been disappointed by anything else. The staff is quiet, but not disrespectful or rude. Not everyone needs to be bubbly and smiley. We'll continue going back every other week.

Honestly I’ve been holding onto this for a year and have to put it on here. The owner is stingy. He works all the weekdays and he will give you HALF portions compared to any other location.Last year I drove up to get 3 taco salads for me and my family close to closing time. There was about 4/5 people in line. The owner was working. There were different modifications to each salad due to food sensitivities and allergies. I believe my sister wanted extra beans and rice since she does not eat meat I stated that he proceeded to put the TINIEST amount of rice and beans EVER. When I asked if he could put more in, he looked me dead In the eyes, glanced back and the line of 3/4 customers, scoffed, held up his ladle, and said “I’ve got other people to feed here” HE WAS RATIONING the rest of the food as if I was begging for food at a soup kitchen when I was in fact paying almost $50!!! When I brought the salads back home my mom and sister looked at the quarter full salad shells and said why are they so empty?I still cannot believe he acted as if I was a nuisance for asking for a regular portion of food. He is literally Mr. Crabs.He has people offering to work weekdays for him and he said “id rather work it myself cause it saves me money” totally fine however you can tell he is trying to save money else where too, by skimping on food. He’s also just RUDE. If any of my family pull up and see he’s the one working we leave and eat some where else.

Went in tonight at 8, made a special trip to get Taco Del Mar. Staff had already cleared away most all of the food- there were only two items left on the food line, but nothing to pair them with. No chips, no queso, no quesadillas, no stars.
Hands down, this is consistently the best Taco Del Mar location there is, and it has been for about 20 years now. The owner, Mark, runs a tight ship, employs good people, and cares deeply about the quality of the product being served. You won’t find a better burrito from any Taco Del Mar out there and that’s just a fact.

I stopped in here on my lunch break and ordered a taco salad and a chicken taco. The guy working was so slow and there was no one else in the restaurant at all! When I got back to work the juice from the chicken taco was all over the front seat of my car soaking into the seat. When i finally finished cleaning out my car, I tried the taco salad and to my surprise there was jalapenos all over it! I didn't ask for them. My mouth was on fire from just that one bite and I had to throw it away. That was the biggest waste of $18 I have ever spent! I will NOT be back!

The service has been less than stellar here for some time, but after today we will never go there again. I had saved up a punch card and went in to redeem it. He refused. I got the card there and hadn't been back since covid. There is no expiration date on the card. Also they upcharge for so many things. Over $12.60 with tax when the menu price was $8.89? No thanks.

I had a negative experience today. I have never been here before and now I don't think I want to come back. The worker there was an older man with a beard and a large figure. He was rude and uncooperative when I asked him questions about the menu. He didn't seem to care about his job. When I walked in he was on his cell phone and took his time before taking my order. I read another comment about the same man. I don't think he knows what he's doing or just doesn't care.
