Poke bowl was awesome! Fresh Ahi with lots of fresh vegetables. It looked big at first but actually was easy to finish and it made you full and healthy but not stuffed. Ramen felt like it was a bit too hard and could have been cooked a tad more. The soup was warm not as hot as I expected but the broth was good. ? The cashier was nice.

I think 4.6 rate is mainly coming from manga atmosphere. If you are expecting real Japanese ramen you will be disappointed. The food is really so so. Three of us ordered different ramen but all disappointed. One of us had vegetable that was cold in hot ramen. How you know it’s good ramen is when the soup is good, but this place hmmmm nope. So hope this review is helpful for people actually really looking for good ramen place.

Had a pick up order, so I didn’t see much of the establishment. The lady at the door was nice throughout our limited interaction, and the OMG burrito was fabulous, though having had one, I am glad that I had a pick up order, since eating it is quiet messy and not something I would like to try outside of my home.I would 100 percent order again.

The lady who took our order this afternoon was so sweet. We ordered the Chicken Poke Bowl, Shrimp Poke Bowl, and Katsu Ramen Bowl.My Poke Bowl was amazing - the portions were PERFECT for the cost of the bowl. Plus that sweet chili sauce on top of the shrimp hits the spot! Any extra sauce is .50 which is reasonable in my opinion.I would def come back and order the same thing! The taste, portions, and service were great for a rainy Thursday afternoon! Cue the Persona 5 music.

Come here often, always get rice on the side of my poke because I like to watch carb intake. Tonight I’m told no I can’t do that, but I have done it the 5-6 times I’ve come. No worries I will pay for a side of rice or salad instead, what is the cheapest? That’s still not understood and I’m still argued, I then reiterated-can I not get a side of rice? Yes but it’s extra, ok we’ll charge extra. What was done with the rice that should’ve been on my poke?!?! Why couldn’t I get my rice on a side today, weird! All I ask for is consistency!!!!!

Ordered myself their Tonkotsu Chasu Spicy through doordash for pick up, it was meh. The broth isn't as thick and rich like Kizuki ramen. Ordered myself a side of fried tofu and fish cake. They missed my fish cake. It was such a simple order yet they manage to miss a simple item. For a total of 30 dollars with tips and tax, it's not worth it. I should have driven to Tacoma Mall to eat at Kizuki ramen.Super disappointed at this Zen.I went to other Zen in Lakewood before and they never miss my stuff and their broth also taste stronger and better.This would be my last time ordering from them.

First time coming out for Ramen since moving here. No idea how this place got 4 stars. Noodles were severely undercooked. Chashu has next to no flavor. Broth isn't even good enough to be called mediocre. We did bring it up to our server and they offered a refund but I find it rude to eat for free so I just opted to attempt to eat what I could and leave. But I do appreciate the offer to refund it.
