So my friend and I wanted to try this place out and on goggle it says that it closes at 2am she got off work at 11pm and we were there by 11:30 online through Google it states it closes at 2am but when you go onto the official website it states that itcloses at 11pm please update Google I'm so disappointed so now I have to wait until next week

Went back and same waitress was much nicer. Giving the place a second chance was worth it. It really is cool in there and the grill is fun. I worked service industry for years and always over tip and rarely ever complain so it was confusing what could inspire being mean. That’s not hip btw. Cashed out with bartender who was nice because waitress never returned to check on us.

My favorite place in Tacoma to get a steak. I felt cozy being able to grill my own steak as the first snow of 2022 hit the ground. Which is another way to describe this bar.. cozy.In case you haven't noticed, you have to grill your own steaks and garlic bread. They have a good variety of seasonings available. And they make sure to keep a good supply of clean cooking utensils. I wish they had a lighter beer on tap that wasn't so hoppy, but overall I was very pleased with my food and drinks.Whatever happened to the elote? I swear they used to give you a corn on the cobb to grill.

Ambiance is 5/5 stars. Really cool bar with great drinks. Staff is friendly and attentive. Great ecclectic patrons. Food has gone down hill. In years past the steaks were fatty waygu or other higher quality ribeyes. The steaks now aren't nearly as good. Also, baked potatoes are gone to be replaced by a green salad (plain with too little dressing.) Garlic bread has too much garlic. All of us complained about the amount of garlic. Something has changed and we are hoping they return to the previous menu items and quality. Sadly, won't be going back for while.

One of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. It took them 30 minutes to deliver a Wonderbread bun + raw burger patty. The drinks were super watered down.Two stars are for the atmosphereIt is really beautiful inside.

I don't get the hype. So you can cook your own food. I can stay at home and do that. Menu is very basic. No dessert. Appetizer dips taste like they are store bought. The only good thing was the onion dip.

It was fun to make our own steak on the community grill but took quite some time to cook it at a medium rare temp. Served with toast and a side salad. Not bad for $9.99.... The environment is fun and there's a selection of odd photos on the walls... I don't drink alcoholic beverages but the selections that were purchased by my friend group looked good. Definitely not a bad place to check out.

We had a super fantastic dinner and experience. The place is super cool and the atmosphere is fun and light. Plenty of abstract art work and the totally awesome oil lamps. The food was great and we loved the communal grill to cook our food and the people to chat with. Our servers were really cool. Totally going back!

It was fun. Funky decor, cooking some of your food at a table with other people while drinking and socializing. Portions were large and service was attentive.

Food wasn’t good, service was even worst. I asked for a shareable drink and was told no, but I was able to order 5 vodka drinks. Seemed like the same concept to me, wouldn’t recommend this place at all

I got super lucky finding this place. Was fortunate enough to randomly find Zodiac while actually en route to food elsewhere. Stopped in during non-peak hours and I have to say this place is rad.Super friendly staff, excellent cocktails and a great variety of them at that, and also I got to grill my own steak?Like. Let's be real. Who doesn't complain about how their meat is prepared? Suddenly, it's in my hands and ergo awesome. Like, slabs of meat, garlic bread, and garlic mashed potatoes? Whoever designed this place may as well have told me about it way sooner.I highly recommend dropping in if you get the chance. Atmosphere is a little gothy, had some solid music, and horror movies on tvs and projectors, while sharing good company and amazing food.Like. Why are you still reading? Grill is disgusting!!! I don't think they even clean it. I would never eat here, plus if I'm gonna go out I'm not cooking my own food, that should be an option not the only choice. There is not much for the Zodiac at all for this place other then drink names, which they had nothing to make them anyway, actually more then half the menue was off limits so like....yeah...I was genuinely disappointed, I mean you have a name like that gave me a lot higher of an expectation, but I guess I'm more classy then this place.I could make better CLEANER food and have a better Zodiac experience at home. Seriously.
