We were traveling to Mt Rainer and needed a coffee stop. My wife found this place and it was terrific. We had great cappuccinos, my mother-in-law had in iced mocha with whipped cream (she was very happy). Highly recommend stopping if you are in the area.

I am road tripping and really want to coffee, so this was the nearest location. It's a small business and it doesn't look like a café from the outside, however, it has really good coffee and awesome customer service. It seems to be a very small town, and I am lucky to have found this gem! The barista was super sweet and I will definitely be back in the future

The only thing advertising this somewhat discreet coffeehouse is the words "Taxes and Espresso" on the storefront. It may not look like a cafe from the street, but you should definitely stop in. I'm relieved to have such a high-quality coffee business so close by. Relaxing ambiance, comfortable seating, and excellent Battdorf & Bronson coffee beans. More variety in the meal options would be nice. There is a small assortment of baked goods like muffins and cookies. The cost is justifiable.

We were traveling from Seattle to Portland and I was craving a coffee. Starting checking out online where we could find someplace and I prefer privately held businesses over any chain stores and this place popped up as an option although with the Bridge out was about 10m off the interstate. Decided to give it a shot after reading the reviews (all great) and now am leaving my own great review! Great ambience, awesome service and the coffee tasted great also. Looked up the specifics on this little town and found out there is a population of only 641 people and that made this an even better find. If you are in the area it is worth the trip.

This coffee shop is hidden away a bit, the sign out front just says, “Taxes and Espresso”. It does not look like a coffee shop from the outside, but it is worth going in. It is the only real coffee shop in the area and I’m glad we have it. Pleasant atmosphere, a place to sit, good Battdorf & Bronson beans. I do wish there was a bit more food selection. They have some muffins and cookies, but a limited selection. Prices are fair and reasonable.
