Foodgasm! My favorite thing to do is to take the seaweed from either a Arashi or Shoyu ramen, take a whole piece of chashu pork or seasoned egg and wrap it, soak it in the broth a little, eat some noodles, and DIG IN! It is a bomb of flavor that mends very well with the broth. Try it! Tell me otherwise!.... Although! I was sad when they gave 1! Piece of seaweed when I ordered a Shoyu ramen with extra chashu pork and seasoned egg. I had to order more seaweed so that I can have my umami bomb! Coming back for more! The black garlic ramen sound interesting but I got to try the creamy veggie more than anything before the black garlic ramen. Till next time!

They use handheld card readers while they stand over you while you checkout. Minimum tip was 18%, but was based on after tax amount.Food was great! Sick of this type of checkout.

Food is better than most comparable places. Only gripe would be seats are too close to each other and got charged for spicy mayo when the Kaarage did not come with any sauce.

I picked up my visiting brother from the airport, and my partner suggested this be our first lunch. EXCELLENT recommendation!!This is some of the best ramen I've had in my life!! And while their vegan options are limited, they have some, and they are done very well. The guys had meat versions (I don't remember the names), and everyone thought it was outstanding! Delicious! We'll be back!

Arashi is my go to ramen spot so far in WA. I have tried quite a few places here and I've had ramen in Japan and Hawaii. I would say Arashi is the most on par with the better of ramens I've had. It's my go to spot whether alone or with people for a cold day. The Ballard location is hard to find parking and quite small so I like this location in terms of parking and size. The main con is definitely how pricey it is for noodles. It's at-least around $20 a person but that garlic broth is just the best so far.
