Din Tai Fung is a great place for drinks and yummy food with friends. Always busy, you need a reservation if you want a seat without waiting too long. And don't be late or you will lose it.So many delicious options. The DTF Old Fashioned is very special with an oolong tea syrup. Wood ear mushrooms in vinegar dressing, Shanghai rice cakes, and Xaio Long Bao soup dumplings are standouts. Hot and sour soup is also delicious. Not shown is the fresh orange green iced tea with boba: very refreshing and not too sweet, the flavor of the jasmine green tea shines through highlighted by the orange juice. Highly recommend any of the locations for a fun and delicious meal.PS If you found this review helpful, please heart it. Thank you!

Check your to go before you leave!Ordered a pork chop fried rice without green onions, and got a green onions fried rice without pork chop. The manager took a photo of it and send correct fried rice later.

It was my second time at Din Tai Fung, the first time was in Taiwan. The food will not disappoint you at all! The service was excellent as well. The atmosphere on the other hand wasn't that great. It feels like a family cafeteria, a lot of loud families with kids. Almost like eating at IKEA. Also, the restaurant is in a shopping mall.Vegetarian options: They have delicious vegan options. Not an exhaustive list of items, but what they have is excellent

A bit pricey but worth every last bite. We love the fried rice (shrimp or chicken), noodles with peanut sauce, string beans, Bok Choi, sweet and sour ribs, any soup dumplings, taro buns, and chocolate dumplings also their braised beef noodle soup cures any sickness OMG!! Go go go

The food and service were great. This was our first time. Did not have a reservation and only waited 30 minutes for a table. Only down side was it was very loud.

Look...the dumplings are great...yes fresh made...congratulations...but the prices are ridiculous and the quality and size of the portions are not ok.I paid nearly $70 Dollar (single) to eat 10 dumplings, fried rice and a Wonton soup...no drinks...That is insane...The soup was a non tasty broth and tge fried rice greasy and exactly 10 tiny shrimps.I will not come back because this is out of line for a location within a basic shopping mall.

MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT! Business is always gooooood , short wait 20 mins . Longer wait 1 hour ? Because the food is good all the DTF location in Seattle are packed! There is bars with liquor quicker to get inFor those who never try I recommend order dumplings that’s what they famous for , service is very attentive and serve food fast !! My favorite Taiwanese restaurant! Even in Taiwan it’s still popular ????

A simple and fun way to share a meal with friends. Order a couple dishes and everybody gets to pick out what they like. Share the food from the plate. Have a good time.I love to have a nice taro bun as a dessert!

This was a fun recommendation from a friend. There are good options for gluten-free diners. This was a great dining experience.

This place never disappoints. The food is absolutely amazing as are the staff. They always make the best recommendations. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but for dessert, highly recommend the Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao. It's like rich hot chocolate exploding in your mouth. We ordered a second! It gets crowded REALLY fast, so reservations ahead of time are helpful. You can just make them online.

This is the worst service I’ve ever received from Din Tai Fung. I am visiting a friend and decided to go to a restaurant that we’re both familiar with. We ordered our dumplings, xiao long bao, and two orders of the chocolate buns. We sat down at 3:51 PM and were done warring around 4:40 PM. We were waiting for the buns to come. After 15 minutes, we set a timer. It took them 22 minutes (not adding the 15 minutes prior) for anyone to come to our table. People were sat and being serviced with plates, napkins (the female waitresses asked if they wanted napkins and just passed us multiple times), and their complete order. After I complained to the female waitress about our waiter, she said “He’s on break”. If I had not complained, we would’ve been waiting. Another waiter came to our table completely unaware of our order, who our waiter was (he thought we had two male waiters), and what was going on. Our order of buns came at 5:00 PM and we had no plates and no napkins. The other male waiter who was assigned to our table AFTER OUR ORIGINAL WAITER LEFT FOR “BREAK” BROUGHT PLATES AT 5:03 PM. The Din Tai Fung in Cali wound never….

honestly really one star because the food let the place down.we ordered the:hot&sour soup (which turned out to be neither hot nor sour)the pork xiaolongbao (which turned out to not have any broth and tasted something that I might have gotten off the frozen food section in Costco)the shrimp and pork dumplings in spicy sauce (which honestly tasted more like sweet peanut sauce than spicy sauce)the fried rice with shrimps (which became the highlight for the table - the fried rice tasted something remotely tasty, but the shrimps just tasted as if they were thawed from the frozen)Overall, was displeased with the food and would not recommend.Nonetheless, the biggest saving grace was the service from Princess, who did the best she could by providing excellent service to us.
