“Delicious food, great service and nice ambiance!! Makes me feel home everytime we dine in at Max's restaurant. The crispy pata was the best I've ever had, crispy and juicy inside. Not salty, just the exact taste and the sauce that came with it was perfect. The pinakbet was really good, just the exact taste I really wanted. And of course, fried chicken was so delicious!!! The fried rice was the best match for all of the dishes!!!I highly recommend for those who wanted authentic Filipino food with great service and very reasonable price!“
“I don't know why i just realized that if I'm craving Filipino food, I don't need to drive far and I don't even have to cook! Seafood City is already a must for my grocery needs so why not add Grill City as a stop when going grocery shopping or just whenever I'm hungry! I usually get their pork BBQ. Their pork sinigang (sour soup) is also good! My parents' version is my fave but the sinigang at GC is a close second. Their Bicol Express is surprisingly delicious as well! Their nilaga is just ok though. I'd love to go back over and over until I've tried almost every dish they have! Service is ok. I wouldn't expect anything special so just focus on the food! They mean well, but it's just how it is sometimes!“
“We walked around trying to find a breakfast with indoor seating, and after a few locations, we found the gem of Seattle! We were met with kindness, love, and treated like family! You know, the ones you really love to see and look forward to seeing! Those family members! We literally stayed because the hostess (one of owners daughters), was so inviting and welcoming! But let me tell you, the portions are amazing, the food is authentic Filipino with American Diner flare and the conversations Greg (The Owner) was just as fulfilling. Greg's story is one of triumph, soro, and rebirth! If you get a chance to speak with him, be prepared to be enlightened and ready to pay it forward! The Silog Combo is a must try! Greg and his family are absolutely amazing, and we look forward to returning!“
“Order at the front and find a seat, don't skip over the homemade green sauce ready for retrieval on the side table. You cannot go wrong with any of the menu items. I have been searching the greater seattle area for a nice place of Filipino food and I am so so impressed with CheBogz. Personally tried to the longganisa plate and the chicken inihwa plate and... sheeeeeesh. That was amazing. Parking is a bit tough but try the neighborhoods around the restaurant, street parking is most likely.“
“we stumbled upon this filipino cafe while walking around chinatown. the reviews looked good so we gave it a shot.first, such cute decor and nice lighting. we were greeted warmly by the cashier and i knew this would immediately be great. sadly they ran out of decaf, but i'm willing to compromise for getting the dangerously delicious ube latte.no idea how they got such a stunning color, but damn it was addicting to look at and to drink.“
“Picked up a couple Balikbayan Boxes with wine and juice pairings from my cousins, Aaron & Amber. Everything was PNW sourced, fresh, and generously packed w/so much care and sentiment. I highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back next year for a dine-in experience. Maraming salamat, guys! Mahal kita!♥️“
“stopped by on a whim as I drove down west valley highway and I was very pleased with the service and food! ordered lumpia, crispy pork belly combo and a brown sugar boba and I was blown away! the crispy pork was beyond good! came with a Mac salad some diced veggies and a wonderfully flavored rice with green onion. the lumpia was freshly made and the boba complimented everything. 10/10 would recommend“
“Really fantastic overall. Drinks from the menu were well crafted and composed. None were out of line with what the description suggested and our bartender was one of the most helpful mixologists ever. We knew it would be good….we didn’t know it would be this good! 10/10 will go back.Suggestions:Wild boar empanadasAsian wingsGenie In a bottle (sweeter cocktail)Monkey temple (whiskey-goes with most things cocktail)Thank you for smoking( a sharper cocktail to contrast the sweetness of ube bread pudding)Ube bread pudding (best dessert I’ve had in a year…..split between 2 people)Ashlyn (we think that’s her name or at least it wa the name on our check) was so knowledgeable. “TLDR: tasty and warming Filipino food, try before the crowds find this tasty spot!Good delicious Filipino food hidden at the bottom of the market but what a find! Friendly service with a huge plate of pansit, white rice, pork adobo that was delicious! Come get some before everyone else finds out about it!“
“We really wanted to try this restaurant as it is one of very few Filipino restaurants in this city saturated with other Asian cuisine restaurants. We ordered the Pusit, Beef Mechado, Balaw na Hipon and Adobong Sitaw. I was quite surprised that rice, which is the staple starch for Fiipino and Asian meals, was not included as part of the price for the main dishes like Beef Mechado which costs $32.00, and Balaw na Hipon, $30.00. The Balaw na Hipon was the best tasting of all the things we ordered. The adobong sitaw would have been a side dish at other Asian restaurants, here it costs $18.00 and the serving was very small, it was also very salty. We were charged $8 for 2 servings of rice, which, again, should be included in the prices of main dishes which cost $30 and $32.Our bill for the 4 dishes plus two servings of rice, Before taxes and the 22 percent service charge was $114.00. With taxes, service charge of 22 percent (and tip which was optional)came out to $158.75, which I think is quite overpriced compared to other Asian restaurants in the area. A family which lives on minimum wage in Seattle would never be able to afford to eat here. They should consider including at least one serving of rice with dishes that cost $30 and $32, and if customers want more rice, they can pay extra.“
“Saw raving review about this place so decided to drive all the way to pike place to order take out (not knowing there is some open seating). The food was delicious, I got a range of different things including longanisa, Salmon Sinigang (not pictured), pancit, and pork adobo. The best was the fried Bangus Fish. Others were just okay. Service was fast and you can kill time by reading all the fun signage. Parking was difficult as you can imagine based on where it's located so be mindful of that. I've been to Philippines many times, having family there, so I do crave authentic Filipino food from time to time. The restaurant is certain a fun place to check out and food is great but I would argue that the place is super authentic. Lastly another reason for 4 stars is the price. All this costed $70+. Almost $20 per dish!“
“The bbq chicken is my favorite and the veggie lumpia! Staff is friendly and very helpful if you have questions about the menu. Service doesn’t take too long but they are usually pretty busy but good food takes time and it’s well worth the wait.“
“This is a great restaurant, the people and the food are great for the most part. A lot of people have an issue with the weird times this place is open and with the price of the food. I understand that the pandemic hit hard, and it's hard to run a restaurant. However, there are definitely things to critique. The food is good, but expensive for small portions. They are also having a menu change at the end of August (that's what I was told last time I came here). They changed the vegan lumpia to only have vegetables in it (tasted like a spring roll), and are getting rid of the adobo burger (no longer on menu) :(. The current menu does not have any lumpia besides the new vegetable one, no dessert, and no potatoes. I thought the lumpia was a favorite? I used to visit every now and then because we love the lumpia, but I don't know how often I'll visit after the change. Maybe it will be good though, I can update later. This place was great, sad to see a decline because of the pandemic or other issues :( If you have the money, it's a good place to support!“
“Worth the drive. Menu selection is not as extensive as others but it's peppered with enough favorites at reasonable prices. I ordered the dinuguan with rice and tokwa baboy (tofu & pork) . Both had the right touch of sour especially the tokwa. Definitely better than Maxim.“
